No Sound After Title

Just bought this game. First cinematic works perfectly, but after the Far Cry 4 title screen the sound doesn't work. Specifically the part where you start with a bag on you're head. All the dialogue is really low and muffled. Other sound seems to be working fine. I set my sound to the lowest bit rate sampling and still nothing. I read this is a common problem in dolby but I have realtek. Drivers are up to date.

SOUND FIX..:

FarCry 4 No Sound FIX
1- Go to the System32 folder and SysWOW64 ( If you have ) and delete THIS audio files

"x3daudio1_0.dll to x3daudio1_7.dll " (you need to delete 7 files )
and
"XAudio2_0.dll to XAudio2_7.dll". ( you need to delete 7 files.)

2- Go in the game folder , Far Cry 4 \ Support \ Software \ DirectX and install a DXSETUP .
( i recommend right click and run as admin ).

3 Restart the PC .

4- Play. Hope this helps .

( I run my game with sound blaster Z with 5.1 and DTS enabled without issues now )..:

If the above did not solve your problem then you can try some other fixes

Select your sound card and change the settings so the playback will be
24bit 48000hz Many people write that this solve their problem.

You can also try to change your sound settings to play in "stereo" instead of 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.

You can also try to open your sounds cards software program and turn off DTS and other features to see if this help.

the stereo audio helped me also, this game is really meant to be played with 7.1 surround its really well made but i didnt have good setup when i first got it.

no sound as well after cut scene using the realtek audio on my x97 board with optical out. thinking about requesting a refund.

Tried reinstalling direct and using the instructions above and redownloading the game. No sound still what a waste of money.

actually i found that website first, and tried both, it didn't work at all.

dunno then man i disabled my realtek onboard sound and popped in a sound card .. sounds better then my onboard sound did anyway

For me, the solution was to stop using my HDMI sound (TV connected to the computer) and to plug in normal speakers into my PC.

Change the sound settings up from 24bit, 48khz to 32bit, 192khz.

No, no I won't go and mess around with system files and prod and pry at MY settings to get the game sound working. If EVERY other game I have EVER played managed to get the sound right without me messing with my settings to this degree I fail to see the reason why I should bother. There are PLENTY of other games out there who somehow manage to get it working right out of the box, if they can't be bothered to fix their buggy game then I am not going to bother to play it, and I will not be bothering to buy anything from them again, especially considering this is almost identical to FARCRY 3 (yes, I was a fan of the franchise till now) and it's been ages since the game was released and this is STILL a problem? Do they mention what you will be breaking for other games (which used to work fine) and that this is just going to cause more headaches when you get tired of the repetitive boring game and decide to play something else? I mean, this is supposed to be a AAA title, I certainly paid enough for it, so this having to hack your system with no bug fix in sight screams of arrogance or incompetence, not sure which is worse. My fear is that it appears to be both.
