Report a translation problem
Ubisoft support told me it's impossible and game is region locked. I specifically asked if I can add files necessary for english audio manually and they replied they don't have that information.
And then there is this thread.

And guess what. It works. Even easier when described. No renaming was needed in my case.
If there are few languages present, game will unlock and show an option to choose audio language.
@Gabe Newell
What the hell, mate?
Farcry 4 list english as available language for subtitles, interface and audio. Nowhere does it say there will be no option to change audio language from russian to english. This is basically false advertisement.
And then support tried to get rid of me by just feeding me default reply without even checking if what they suggest is possible.
Why paying customers should have harder time than people who are pirating the game?
Why is there no clear warnings about limitations this specific game has?
Why can't support tell me game can be easily fixed by manually adding few files?
This was quite a frustrating experience.
Most of our games are indeed region locked to the specific store country you use via Steam and your IP. Most of our games that contain the Russian language also contain the English language, either in subtitles or audio.
In some instances, this issue is caused by a write permission, if a certain game file is saved as a read-only file, or it has no admin permissions, it may not remember what settings were saved.
If you do not have the language files available in your installation, it may be that your game installation was corrupted, which you can sometimes verify your game files to fix and replace the missing files.
Thanks for letting us know you were able to fix this issue another way, I will make sure to forward this to our Far Cry team.
