Hey RaiTheGeek,
Thank you for reaching out, sorry to see y8ou're having issues!
Is the game appearing stretched or stuttering?
And have you given any of the troubleshooting steps discussed above a try?

What I think is happening to us is that the game goes into borderless fullscreen and the image becomes horizontally stretched. This setting seems to reset in the beginning load of the game where it starts fullscreen then it switches into borderless fullscreen by itself. I fix it by setting the window settings to fullscreen again.
After digging around, I have seen similar reports being mentioned in the past, therefore accordingly, have now forwarded it over to our development team for further review.
Our apologies about the inconvenience this may be causing and if you do run into any other difficulties or have any queries, do not hesitate and drop us a message at any time!

thats a standard windows command to force an app to full screen
This is continuing to be investigated by the team - however at this time we can't confirm any more details such as a date for a fix.
In the meantime, please continue to use Alt + Enter as a workaround.
Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience caused!

I also encountered an annoying issue running the game on an ultra-wide monitor. Using the "Auto" setting for "Aspect ratio" makes all the characters look wider than they should appear (they all look short and stout). The only way to fix this was to manually change the aspect ratio setting to 21x9. This works for the most part and fills the entire ultra-wide monitor with no black bars (and the characters don't look horizontally-compacted anymore). Except for when using the camera in-game and accessing the title screen and menus - there are black bars on the left and right edges in those cases. A minor annoyance, but it doesn't seem to impede gameplay. The bug is that using any other aspect ratio setting other than 21x9 results in horizontally-stretched characters.
Thanks for sharing these tips too Himalaya Studios, appreciate it!
