All I understand from this is that FC64.dll is the problem but don't know how to fix it, already posted this to Ubisoft, but they're taking their time to reply so I figured I'd see if anyone here had this problem and fixed it. Got the Uplay version by the way.

up top in steam look for the help section

clik on that

then clik system information

let that load , only take a few seconds

once that loads with your system information

right clik on that

select all

then right clik agian select copy

then when you post back

right clik and select paste on your reply

My system specs are:
Motherboard: Asus P5K Premium
CPU: Intel core 2 quad cpu q6600 @ 2.4GHz
Memory: 8GB ram DDR2 800MHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 2GB

My systems only real low point is the CPU and motherboard, but the whole system is more than good enough to run the game at High/Sub-ultra.

Are you running any other screen overlay programs? Like fps monitors/recording software/etc?

Also, when does it crash? Does it go through everything, launch uplay, launch the game then crash? Or does it crash in-game? Before?

i have the same CPU and an asus P5 B plain board and 8 gig of ddr2 as well tho my GFX card is different your GTX 760 should work

also you might only get away with medium setting as your older board + ram+ Q6600 are gonna bottleneck your vid card a bit your Video card is PCIE 3.0 why your motherboard is 2.0 or like mine 1.1 at best

0xc0000005 could be one several different things bad mem , bad sector in your hard disk

not having the proper .net framework or Microsoft runtime files installed

if you follow what i asked you to post it will show me weather or not that is the error

you should also Verify your files in the u play Client as you may be missing the correct set of .dll files the game needs

shut off riva tuner yet ?

that causes crashes Known issiue ... have you also tried to delete the FC64.dll and then try to re verify the files ?

shut off the MSI stuff too if you have afterburner and any and all programs that are an overlay

check your game controllers ..some may not work at all and you may need to unplug them again Known issiue

DAEMON Tools Ultra also known issiue make sure you exit out of that and do not let it load in windows start up MOST if not all Ubisoft software hates this as it can be used to mount virtual disk DVD/ Cd images so DEF exit that

Logitech Gaming Software 8.45 < i have running as well no issiues
Logitech Z-series Software 1.04 < this im not sure on as some people have reported issiues with some logitech devices

i use a wireless Logitech K330 keyboard
and i also use a Wired logitech G400 gameing mouse and had no problems

as well as on older Logitech Dual action game pad no drivers installed win 7 picked it right up .. its similar to the F310 gamepad ..just an older model

i also see this AVG SafeGuard toolbar several people have reported issiues with AVG and you may need to reconfigure it a bit ..i use avast so check your settings in AVG

basically start with the things i just posted and like i said limit as much as possible any other software that is configured under windows 7 start up

this game is a MEM and resourse HOG by limiting whats running in the back round WILL HELP

the main reason you wanna limit stuff is you want your system to be running very lean since you like i as well are running the game on older ddr2 800 as well as older Core2 quads and older motherboards

and i have not had a single crash ever since day 1 of the games release

only problem i faced is the memory leak that was part of patch version 1.5 .. which is still there but has been pretty much not an issue for me under 1.6 as long as i dont play for over 8 to 9 hours or so

Aight I verified the files again, even though I did it before by deleting the dll, it didnt work before, but this time I was able to play an entire multiplayer match without crashing.

one guy posted back it took him 3 times of running the verify files till it finally took and found and reinstalled i think he said 9 small files a few weeks ago

and the game is a wopping 30 gig beast so its possible some ♥♥♥♥ gets lost in the DL process

and remember these Q6600's are FREAKING TANKS MAN even on your P5 K the nice overclock you can pull out em and still get performance this many years later is pretty cool

i may try to pick up a Q9650 cheap before i do my next mobo /ram upgrade as the prices on those are falling now adays

hell a q6600 is only $50 new they retailed for alot more then that years ago
