YouTube says honey badgers are bee-resistant. That's not the case in FC4, it seems. I don't know whom to trust anymore.

hope my "not saving bug" won't happen again. bought this game yesterday, played it, played it again this morning, exept that it wouldn't save, black screen after death, and when i did have the save option, i would just stay frozen in the monu and would have to use task manager to close it. after cleaning steam of this "disk write error" (and un-installing the game in hopes it woudl fix itself. nope. now gotta re-download it all over again!) it seems to be downloading fine now. but god, the hassle!

That's old bug, happened to me on 1.5.0. Try to fast travel somewhere, missing sound must come back after loading.

if your useing onboard sound with realtek onboard sound others have posted on the ubi forums about that as well , some fixed it with updated drivers some were unable to find updated drivers for their motherboard others have also said just try useing a dedicated sound card , rather then your onboard sound ..,check the tech support boards on ubi as i do recall seeing it posted over there a while ago

i also had the issiue when the game launched .. my solution was disable onboard sound and put in an old SB live 24 bit card i had laying around .. which acaully sounds better overall , not just in games but in everything on my system

It's a known bug with this patch, it's recommended to not download the patch until they release a hotfix for it. :(

but of i installed it yesterday, does that mean i have the patch with the bug? if i do, any way to downgrade|?

Thanks for the tips, seems just playing for some minutes makes the sound come back to life, which is weird (never had anything like this). Thanks

1.6 is a lot better, not perfect but a lot of stutters are better.. still needs more tweeking but a definite improvement.
