Yes i am, it is a known memory leak. Ubisoft Megan said they are looking into the problem. Hopefully they fix it quick. Mine didn't start crashing or having any problems till the 1.5 patch came out.

Hey guys, I've had the same issue with terrible lags after 2-3 hours of playing the game. I kinda found a remedy for that. Why kinda? Well it doesn't fix the issue completely but it certainly adds a couple more hours of smooth gameplay (at least in my case) and framerate hiccups are not as nearly horrible as before. I have a piece of software "Advanced System Care" installed on my PC for years for quick windows maintenance and stuff, I have a really old version 3.3.1 (it's like 5 years old or so) and this version has a pack of utilities I actually never used before. I believe in newer versions of that piece of software devs want you to pay for those extra utilities but in mine those are going in a free packege. One of those utilities is called Smart RAM, I guess it monitores and manages your RAM usage. I turned it on, checked all options in settings (some kind of Smart RAM compression technology and free RAM while system is idle etc) and tried to play Far Cry 4 with it minimized in the tray. I still experience occasional stumbles in framerate here and there but those start to appear after 4-5 hours of playing and I can still play and enjoy the game. I hope it'll help, well...... semi-help.

Thanks for the tip!
I found some guide how to use CleanMem app to deal with memory leaks of a specific program (in that guide the example was BF4):

http://battlefield.play4free.com/en/forum/showthread.php?tid=87779

I downloaded and installed CleanMem Free and configured it according to that guide to deal only with memory issues related to FarCry4.exe and Firefox.exe and leave all other processes alone (this is an exclusuve advantage of CleanMem among similar apps).
Let's see if it helps... :)

For your general knowlege, I also found some article explaining why letting memory optimizers to manage your entire system is a bad idea. Check it out ;) :

i would not suggest to use mem cleaner they can do teriible things with your datas if something goes wrong like save data delected etc. just wait for a patch pc often needs much more compatiblity than any console would need cuz the hardware is very wide ^^

First of all, I always backup my saves manually before a session and sometimes in a middle of it.
Another thing - you're talking about some theoretical probability of some possible damage to some data, when I know for SURE that the game (due to a memory leak) will crush eventially with 100% probability if I play long enough... Let me do the math by myself... ;)
