C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\58bbd877-836e-4d00-afd6-ff9705fc4e2c\856
the letters and numbers can differ, but I hope you get the idea. ;) Your saves folder can be named also "420", "917" or something else instead of "856". Its always 3 digits. If you have other ubisoft games, it will be more than one saves folders in that folder with long name. You can find Far Cry 4 folder according to the dates the save files inside were created.
After finding your saves folder try this:
1. Copy the 3-digit folder and paste it in different place, then create another backup.
2. Open one copy of 3-digit folder. You will see numbered pairs of *.save and *.save.upload files saved at different time. Choose only one pair (for example, the oldest one) and delete all other pairs.
3. Go to your original savegames location and delete the saves folder, then put there tempered saves folder from step 2 (one with only the oldest pair of save files).
4. Go to UPlay settings and uncheck cloud syncronization.
5. Load the game and see if you succeeded to load older save.
6. You can try the same thing with another pair of saves.
there is only
1.save
2.save
but no save.upload files
If thet haven't, try to leave only the older one.
If they have, try to right click on the 3-digit folder and choose "restore previous version"....
As for restore option it sould be one if you running Windows 7 (I'm not sure about W8).
But even if you'll find this option, it can be or not to be stored previous versions - it depends on your computer settings...
In the future it's always a good idea to backup and store your saves along the game... ;)
