Support for 16:10 monitors

I just cannot play this game with 2 inch black bars on the top and bottom of my monitor. It ruins my gaming experience and others as well. If Ubisoft doesnt fix this then good job! again you stole our money.

I agree - whats the point of having a 16:10 ratio option in the game if it does actually work properly!?! There is a workaround however, there is a 'Remove Black Bars' exe you can download and run that does the job...

It works - all you have to do is be in game (not just at start menu) alt-tab out - run the program, click remove black bars - it takes a few seconds - and bingo, no more black bars...

Its a pain to have to do this everytime you play the game, but until ubi fixes this issue its the best we have...

Yes - i got if from another post that was here on the forums and alot of people are using it. I was a bit hesitant at first too, but i have had no issue with :)

they never wanted to fix it as back when the game shipped 16:10 monitors were on the way out and 16:9 was the new standard aspect ratio for games

Also the final patch for FAR CRY 4 came out in Spring 2015

since then the game was moved to legacy status and no further work was / or is to be done on it
as they no longer have the original dev TEAM OR A BUDGET

the game is AS IS now ... and they never even fixed the STABBY HOLE that was reported many months before the final patch

i call it the stabby hole since some guy called stabby found it .. posted about it ...and said it even kills tigers

i wish i had a link to it ..but its just a small hole in the map you fall thru . when asked about it.... UBI MISTY admitted its the gateway to Narnia :lol

and yes it does indeed kill tigers ..so id stay away from it if i were you
