Dolby Digital Live 5.1

Hi all, has there been a fix for the DDL 5.1 issue or a workaround? Ta.

I am also looking for a fix to this issue. I use an optical out to a logitech 5.1 speaker system. My only 5.1 audio option is Dolby DTS Interactive. When using this option, the game will make no sound once you get passed the intro's.

If I switch to 2 Channel 96Khz, audio works fine. Please Ubisoft fix this annoying issue.

if they havent fixed that issue yet with watchdogs. then dont worry about them fixing it for this game as well.

what sound card are you useing ?

if you use real tek on board sound you may need updated and properly configured drivers

in windows first ..check your settings in both the game .........and windows mixer /sound properties

maybe mine only appaers to be working because i have my sound going thru HDMI to my 40 inch TV and its useing those Speakers connected to the TV thru its 5.1 output ?

I tried using this way of connecting the 5.1 system but Windows always reports the HDMI supporting 2 channel instead of 5.1. Audio works great otherwise this is the only title I own where audio does not work in game.

dunno as i can set my sound to 5.1 in my CCC once i set my HDMI up and the tv again is set to use 5.1 maybe it is.... just running in 2.1 but the sound is coming out of 5 speakers and sounds like surround sound from my 5.1 logitech speaker system ?


what i am saying ............is not my PC sound card

is NOT putting out any sound i am runnng my sound via HDMI to the TV /' thus thru the TV's sound support ..maybe thats why it sounds like its working ..as my PC is not doing the SOUND my TV' is via the surround sound system is ...via HDMI

Hasvn't had any sound issues, on my Asus Xonar DX card, running through my 5.1 speakers and then emulated 5.1 sound through my headphones, works great
