FarCry 4 Save File Help

Long story. I was traded the game on Steam. I played it and had 20% completion. Eventually the game gets revoked. Recently I was able to buy the game free of charge on Uplay. My question is how do I bring my save file on Uplay from Steam? What file do I have to look for and where I copy it? Thank you. Also the Uplay version is the limited one while the steam one was the standard edition.

On Steam should be like a normal uplay user using the default folders, by default I have my saves here

if you load the game once normally , you should find a newly created folder with two new save files inside, replacing them by yours should be enough and by chance if uplay cloud ask you wich copy to keep , you answer the local copy

AgitProp did you ever get the game working properly? I experienced the same problem with getting my game revoked and have repurchased it and am having problems with the save files.

I did. After loading into the game once (so you have to play a bit, until you get to a checkpoint) it creates that folder you need. You then put the file in there, load into game and poof you are golden.
