And that is what I like and dislike about the series' direction. The bad guys are hyper stereotyped evil, rather than the grey area of villains in real wars. The "natives" are always seen as generally great freedom fighters, that always show their own corrupt nature when you finish doing all the dirty work for them. FC2 was great in that the factions were both equally good/evil, and the "villian" was just doing his job as the two sides made use of his services to commit the actual attrocities. You were just the middle man until the end when The Jackal and you both sacrifice yourselves to put an end to the whole war and save a lot of civilians.
