"Crab Rangoon" Action Not Unlocking For Uplay Points (Secret Ending)

This is described as "Can't we sit down and just have dinner like a family for once? (Campaign Only)" action. Many people report being unable to unlock this action, which is worth 40 UPlay points. This is problematic because you can only achieve this by playing the secret ending. You can not unlock this in the regular "longer campaign". This action will also give the largest amount of UPlay points out of all the possible actions available. I have yet to see any proof that anyone has managed to unlock this action, and that it is not yet another bug that needs fixing.

Has anyone managed to unlock this particular action? Without getting too much into spoiler territory regarding the secret ending (not that it really has any), this should be the easiest UPlay action to achieve as you literally do nothing at the beginning of the game to achieve it, short of two small actions at the end. I have been unable to find any question on Steam or Uplay's forums that address this issue.

If anyone has found a way to unlock this action, assuming it must be done in a specific way, any information posted here regarding how to properly unlock it would be greatly appreciated.

I tried with the alternate ending several times...never got it...

I got it at the end of the game , the beginning shortcut didn't work for me though SPOILER after killing min at the dinner table But yeah, I did the bad ending at the very end of campaign for the 40 points.

@Chiken Grease. Interesting. Could be I misinterpreted the scenerio in question for the secret ending one since the settings are so similiar. The fact that it's worth 40 UPlay points makes more sense if you assume it's meant to be unlocked near the end of the campaign, not fifteen minutes into a new campaign.

Interesting... maybe it is just for beating the game I guess I mean the different endings aren't all that different you still end at the Dinner table scene endings only change what you do at the dinner table no matter which of the endings you choose.

This still does not explain how you actually trigger the 40 Points. I waited the time, got to Scene, Dropped the ashes, waited trough the whole Credits and even tried "Continue" which just repeats the Drop the ashes part but still no 40 points. Help Out ?

You get it by completing the normal game, not the easter egg fast ending. Also i got it and i let Ming leave safely.

Man, I just wasted an hour of my life watching the alternate "beginnending" two times trying to get this. Bumping this so other people might avoid my stupid mistake. :P

I just picked up Farcry 4 a couple days ago. Originally read (and watched) the secret ending, so i did that first play through. Didnt get the unlock. Then i went through the whole game (Amata choices) and didnt kill papy in law until after i laid the ashes of mama. (he was in ther heli.) then i get the unlock in uplay.

I know this is a bit of a resurrection of a potentially dead thread but the fact is the double Ubipoint drop off FarCry games got me to finish FC3, Blood Dragon and 4.... and yeah Crab Rangoon is at the end... and if anyone else got freaked for a sec on Truth and Justice (since you "Kill Pagan") yeah.... body double (darn dictators and their body doubles...)

I just tried it, and it didn't work. I have all other club rewards now, but not the crab rangoon. Tested the fast ending, and nothing happens.

A bit of a necropost, but since this was the first Steam result on Google, I figured I'd pitch in and offer my experience.

In my case, none of the Club Challenges unlocked for me, even though I achieved them all. I had to contact Ubisoft Support and submit a ticket, and then talk to them via live chat to get them to correct the issue.

I provided them with screenshots of my Club Challenges and Achievements. I got a response within a day. After it was corrected, I had to load back into Kyrat once more to get all the Club Challenge completion alerts to show.

In regards to Crab Rangoon, I did NOT acquire the secret Pagan Min ending. I simply beat the game without killing him and also allowing him to escape.
