Game breaking bug/glitch after act 2 "Dont Look Down"

At the end of mission "Dont Look Down" when Willis kicks you out of the plane and the guy knocks you out, The screen went black so i had to restart the game. But instead of returning to the mission i respawned in a safe house with no weapons, no mini map or hud and there are no story missions showing up. Now i cant progress any further through the game.

Hey guys,
This just happened to me also.... I hit escape and clicked return to last checkpoint and after I did that it worked.... just to let anyone know who needs it

look in the troubleshooting tips section yet there is a link to get backed up save files there

SHUT OFF THE UPLAY CLOUD SAVE SETTING FIRST IN THE UPLAY CLIENT SETTINGS

then download akunamatta's backed up save files

you have to shut off the cloud save option to use backed up save files

his backed up saves cover most of the game , you should be able to find one in his archive that will put you close to where you were in the game

copy and paste one of his saves into your proper folder

each save consists of 4 small files
1.save
1.save.upload
2.save
2.save.upload

save files go in

the steam version of the game, saves your game to
C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 856


the Uplay only version they are in
C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 420

retail version save files are not compatable with the stolen version of the game by the way
so if you have a pirated copy thats probably why your game crashed ,, and other save files from the legit version will not help you.

i just zipped up a bunch of backed up save files if you need them you can get them here
it does not cover all of the game

again i have the Legit Steam version of the game see the .txt notepad file in the zipped archive on how to use them and where they go

Don't look down is included as is Death from Above

remember you have to shut off the uplay cloud save setting first to use backed up save files
