A Difficult Jump - Tower North of Banapur
I preordered this game months ago at my local Gamestop and I have been playing since its release. I have been having a blast riding elephants and tranversing through the land. But when it came to opening up more of the map and liberating towers, I caught a slight snag with one in particular. I looked at my strategy guide on how to climb each tower, but the one north of Banapur had me stumped. When you first enter there is a ladder to your right that leads to the second floor, after that you proceed to a jump across a hole that leads to another set of stairs to the third floor. The strategy guide says that you can make the jump, but I have tried it numerous times and every time is like an invisible walk blocking me and I just fall to the first floor again. I ended up just using a gyrocopter to land on the third floor and bypass the jump. Has any one else experienced this or am I not athletic enough?

I got stuck on the same tower, that's why I'm here looking for an answer. Interesting that the guide says you can make it. Seems like I can make it to the edge for a second, then I drop down. Buzzer attempts ended in fatal crashes but I'll have to try again.

I did this tower from the buzzer by getting close as I can to the veranda and ejecting , I landed on the veranda and the buzzer crashed and burned .

Same issue....tried about 30-40 times. Finally I discovered pressing the sprint, jump, forward buttons all at the same time gave me a massive jump to reach the walkway.

With using the gyrocopter, you can skip the jump and land on the awning on the third floor and continue from there without a problem. It's nice to see that I am not the only one that had the issue. I have completed the game already in the first week of its release. I honestly enjoy it a whole lot better than FC3, but that's just my opinion. I would like to get into the co-op aspect of the game instead of just going solo, but no one on my friends list has the game. Curses...

I can't remember that tower specifically, but on my first play-through I did manage to free all the bell towers the 'right' way, by climbing and jumping.

On my second game now and I said to hell with doing it right and just use the gyrocopter to get at them all. :D:

One thing I do have trouble with though is some of the propaganda posters on the bell towers that just seem impossible to reach.

I've noticed that too, Oblivious. From what I have seen in a video, you have to improvise with those. You can't jump high enough to reach them, so throw a molotov at it instead. The molotov will do the trick. I promise you. :)
