Save and mission progress corrupted...

So I launched my game and started 1st mission, but soon I realised that the progress isn't advancing, so I tried restarting mission and every time the mission progress should advance - it doesn't. Tried launching New game, but it doesn't help...

Tried Integrity verification, but it went through clean.

Anyone know where Save data is located so maybe I delete it and try a clean New Game?

the first save haven is the town you reach at end of the intro! did you save there that is after you did flee and eluded all confrontations and found the tower got guided to the small village of the golden path ?

I couldn't get that far... I entered the Basement where Torture was happening, but all the models had frozen, so I restarted mission and suddenly Im in basement and the torture is happening as intended, then I open the door where the rescuers are, they tell me to go through the door and run to Truck, but once I'm out there is no firefight and no truck, so I reload checkpoint and there is Truck and firefight, so I enter Truck, but it doesnt move, so I reload again and the truck moves. The driver tells me where the gun is, but no gun is equipped after a while when the quad-bikes appear - I suddenly have a gun in my hand and I commence firing, but then the Truck gets rammed and screen goes black and I can't do anything. If I try to jump I hear the saund of jumping, but the screen is still black...

If I reload the save, then I'm in an empty world and I'm clipping thrugh all the doors... Seems the save has been corrupted. So thats why I need it's location...

I'm actually having a very similar issue as well... i personally didn't have time to get to the end point of that mission. Open World shooter. Should let you save just about anywhere. If I remember correctly FC3 let you do that. But when you started the game back up, it would put you in the next save point. It saved as you progressed. Loot a corpse/knocked out soldier and it then saved once you finished looting. Kind of like a mini content save. AC:U and AC:IV do this as well. Thare are specific points you spawn back into game from. But there are also light saves of progression so you dont lose things just because you dont have time to get to a certain point.

I found:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\my games\Far Cry 4\

I am running Windows 8.1.

I found a folder in the root of the Far Cry 4 folder. That folder contains some files. However it seems as though every time I launch the game Ubisoft Uplay or the game itself is redownloading those files from the Ubisoft server. And there seems to be no ability to manage the Ubisoft Cloud saves...

This is game breaking for me. I made it to the save point again. Game shows the Saving occur. Step out of game. Step back in. 0Hrs 8M played on my save time...

Trying deleting the directory now. Will update this post.

I finally came to conclusion that saving is not the problem, but rather that mission progression is buggy as hell ATM. Best workaround for the moment is to Shift+Tab avery time you think the mission should advance.

I turn off Uplays file sync also. I don't need their unstable platform corrupting my save files.

So after deleting the folder and restarting the game (despite UPlay showing my old 0h 8m save file) then playing straight through to the town. Also I sold some of those trinkets i pulled off soldiers and animals along the way. I was then able to save the game and have it stick. Everything else I tried it failed horribly.
