Is the game well optimized?
Sorry for starting a similar thread but i wanna be prudent when making purchase so plz help!
Below is my computer specs. Obviously, it won't even be compatible for FC3. However, I was still able to play it with Medium-graphic and NO lag at all(not even crash on Uplay). So base on your experience playing this game, you think i'll be able to run it without too much lag?(dont care much about graphics as i wont expect it to be good)

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G3220 @ 3.00GHz

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630

Memory:4.0 GB

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

I really care about performance, not the textures. Like i said earlier, runs FC3 pretty well.

what the hell are you talking about? it runs great on my 770. 50-60 fps on ultra (no AA).

Frame Rates are definitely not a problem. The game is running great; some users are reporting small problems and the only thing I've noticed is difficult to aiming, but other than that I haven't experienced many of the problems others are reporting. As of now, I'm loving it.

YOur not going to be very happy with the game playing witha GFX 630. That card was a $50 card when it was released 2 years ago..

im running smooth as butter on my 760
So it seems there are conflicting opinions between yes and no. Should I just invest and hope for optimizations from Ubisoft?

That is real far below the minimum specs..They can only optimize so much.

in my opinion you should consider upgrading your pc before trying to play newer games...your pc will be hard pressed with only 4gb ram and your graphic card isnt the brightest star on the market...i would wait or upgrade first the pc (if you have the money)

i have a intel i7 4th gen 3.4ghz 8 gb ram gtx 770m no matter what settings i use i cant get a good or stable framerate. On this rig i get 60 fps in shadows of mordor on high to ultra same with alien isolation and far cry 3 no other game i have issues with except this one

Your computer being too weak has nothing to do with optimization. So you're better off getting the console version actually.

Sounds like it runs just fine, guess I'll go ahead with the buy tomorrow.

Seems like it so far. The only issue I'm having is the trees are all changing to 2D completely flat models which I'm sure happens to trees that are far off in the distance to cut down on render load, but for some reason the exact opposite is happening for me: they are fully detailed until I get close to them, they they change to lower detail models. I'm sure a driver update will fix it.

There's a ton of graphics optimization options unlike every other cross platform game that also gets a PC version. Tomorrow my 970 is coming in the mail so between that and updated drivers, I should be good to go.
