Mouse movement
What's up with the mouse movement? It's all jerky and feels like it's gaining/losing speed and not fluid whatsoever. This was not a problem in Far Cry 3, is this happening for anyone else?

Are you experiencing it too?

Yeah. I'm almost sure this is a common problem. I'm running it on a beast of a rig, so there should be no problem here. I'm pretty sure it's a patch that will roll out soon. Everything is fine until you go to aim at something specific. Console gamers are not reporting the same problem.

Sure workd sweet with a 360 controller..Movement was smooth i could keep a farawy enemy pretty much in my sights as he made small movements. If it makes large jerly movements ..you need to turm down the sensitivity.

its not about the sensitivity its really unsmooth... especially when you go in eagle.... then you cant follow enemies.... its damn unstable... also to call it look sensitivty instead of mouse sensitivity....

It has nothing to do with my sensitivity, this is something with the game itself, Far Cry 2 suffered from a similar issue that Far Cry 3 did not, and now this is again...

Oh God the mouse movement is awful in that game...

Sensitivity seems to take a nose dive when I'm moving the mouse very slowly (ie. trying to line up a headshot at long range), which totally throws off my aim. Clearly this is a feature designed for gamepads and which for some reason is not disabled when using a mouse.

Yeah when you try to shoot and aim it's very difficult. You can't hit even one person because the mouse is not moving almost at all when you move it slowly while aiming.

i hope this 60.00 game isnt broken

Maybe it's set to negative mouse acceleration. So when you move slowly, it moves slowly.

Cause that's what happns to me.

Guys, this is an issue called negative acceleration and atm there is no real fix for it, even if you disable the mouse acceleration from the options. This is especially annoying when you are ads with your gun, since you cant aim properly.
A dude posted a guide here in steam but this is generally not working. Anyway, you can try it out. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=343389791

My guess is they didnt add support for raw mouse input in the game, instead they tried to emulate cotroller stick camera movement. Which is NOT good at all for us mouse users... Lets hope ubisoft will patch this issue soon, beacause, desides that, the game is pretty awesome!

An for anyone wondering why fc4 is not in my library here in steam, i got the game on uplay as part of the new nvidia gpus promotion
