How to skip cut scenes?
How do you skip cut scenes?

(The one at the start of the game is particularly long).

how are you playing this game already!?

I live in New Zealand, where today's date is the 18th. I preloaded Far Cry 4 a couple days ago and was able to start playing it this morning.

(Sometimes NZ gets Steam games before the US, but sometimes we get games a couple days later due to staggered international release scheduling. We got lucky with Far Cry 4.)

What an elaborate lie.

If Esc, Enter or mouse buttons don't skip it, then you usually have to rename the actual movie file so that the game can't find it when loading the game and thus won't load it.

Deezus, it's not a movie file but a scene rendered with the game engine.

Then he's SOL. He better call Saul!

You cannot skip any cutscene.

And there are two kinds of cutscenes Vince. The first is the one you talk about like in FC3, the other one, like the intro video, is a recorded movie file in the game engine, but not a live rendering cutscene. With a lot of tearing btw.

They all looked rendered live by the game engine when I played the pre-release version. And yes, I own the limited edition you can check my profile.

you can bypass any cutscene with Alt-F4

Vince, what is a lie? The fact that Steam is letting "foreigners" download certain games (including Far Cry 4) before Americans?

You should do your research before accusing people of lying (or piracy). Try using a VPN to access Steam through a New Zealand IP and see for yourself. You might even get to play the game earlier than your neighbors. You're welcome.

They all are made with the engine, but some like the intro are pre recorded (means this is not your game running, its a video launched) while others are classic cutscenes in game (means with your graphic configs, and the framerate depending on your rig).

OK, so you think your country is the sole one on Earth.

Please read the thread before posting. Tripecac already gave me a detailed explaination and I understood that I was wrong.
