There are none in Durgesh. You can only get the Tapir skins from loot chests in captured outposts, specifically the one at the top left of the map with the spanner icon (forget what it's called]

I ran all over with those looking for the damn tapirs. Well done - I couldn't find any at all!! haha. Honey Badgers are also scarce even though they appear on the map.

Another tip for those looking for the *rare* skins to complete their crafting - these usually appear in the small, wooden loot chests (the "flatter", brown coloured ones) - not the more common green ones that contain ammo.

Oh I know... after searching futilely I finally got some in a chest in one of the crafting outposts.

I looked all over the place and I'm still exploring Durgesh, but I still have yet to find any in the wild, and I do use hunting syringes very often.

Yeah, I've found a few in random chests throughout the map.
