Game freezes
I'm stuck in a mission. I have to kill Yuma's Lieutenant in a cave. Everytime I go down into the cave where th enemies are the game freezes and I have to press the power button to reboot my PC. This happened 5 times in a row. Eveytime I relauch the game it starts me back in the mission.

I'm stuck in an endless loop of fail. lol

Drivers and game are up to date. I'm confuse about what to do next?

PC: i7 4770k, 16GB of ram, 2x GTX680 in SLI, etc...

I was able to do fix the problem by turning off SLI. I did the mission without the game freezing and then I turned SLI back on.

I'm in the same boat, suspected SLI, will give that a shot. Man SLI seems to make games buggy and I thought it would be great. FYI my first search didn't turn this up, it's the (first) Monkey Statue mission Speak No Evil for Hurk.
Edit: Yep disabling SLI allowed me to complete this mission without the lockup/freeze.
Edit 2: Same thing happens in the 2nd (W) Willis Huntley mission Kill or Be Killed, happened to me shortly after entering 3rd part of this mission Find a way out of the cave. Was extremely frustrating as it took me a LONG time to get to that part of the mission and after lockup I had to start from the beginning of the mission. It took me so long because in the second part of the mission after I got the key I didn't realize I could/should leave the area .
If anyone is debating about getting a 2nd video card for SLI or saving for a single 970 or better, save yourself a LOT of frustration and get the 970 it is soo much better and you don't have to keep turning on/off SLI for bugs like these and issues with AC Unity and god knows what all - I've been using SLI for 1 month and it's been a lockup/freeze nightmare even when it initially may look to work. It may be just very odd timing with me playing FC4 and Unity, but for just a few weeks and having immediately encountered severe issues when in SLI mode I encourage you to save yourself the heat/power consumption and avoid it.
