Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC Patch Causing Crash. Help!

Hey all....

I'm not seeing any posts about this on the Steam community, Reddit, or other pits of the internet...but basically, ever since downloading the DLC this morning, FC4 on my rig won't load past the "Press Any Key" screen.

Upon pushing any key, there is an instant crash. "FC4 stopped working" etc etc.

I have tried cleaning DLL files, I have tried a fresh install, I have tried rolling back my EXTREMELY moderate O/C settings on my GPUs, and have tried launching from Steam, Uplay, and Windows Explorer alike to no avail.

I'm running an ASUS ROG Maximus IV, i7 3770k (light O/C), 2 EVGA 660s in SLI (light O/C).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try deleting your profile file/folder from 'my documents'. Helped me. Its rtue.. game is stil glitchy as f..

I've got Win7 64bit Ultimate and Gforce GTX 580 with latest driver and when I get to the mission Durgesh Prison (when Pagan Min talk hi crap) game just crashes. I did delete my Profile in the above folder but didn't work still crashing. As rob said game is glitchy as f***.
Any recomendations what I can do?

1. set both Steam and Uplay as RUN As Administrator

2. Verify your game files

To verify your files if you bought the game thru Steam ..exit Steam ..right click your steam icon ..select run as Admin
launch Steam

go to your Steam games library

right clik on far cry 4

select properties

select local files

select verify Integrity of game cache

it takes a few min to do but its faster the redownloading your entire game , if its only a few files that were corrupt or installed incorrectly .... this in many cases will fix your problems

If you have the U play only Version of the game you can also verify your game files with U play

if you have the game via u play only here are instructions how to verify your game files thru their client

3.try shutting off any Nvidia gameworks settings you may be using these are broken with the latest Nvidia Drivers

I have a CD and I installed game from there so I've got U Play installed automatically. Usually I just play through U Play but I do have a Steam installed to. So I should just verify my game files through U play ?

I have the same issue. I have removed the profile folder, I have also lowered my graphic settings to low and removed vsync. The same thing happens and I cannot continue the game. Has anyone actually fixed this issue?
