NO SOUND AT ALL

I am using razor kraken 7.1 classic and I have no audio in game. Please help

I had the same problem in my Hometheater it happened first in Watch dogs ,and it happens in every Ubisoft game ,remember what i write here and make this in every ubisoft game you play in the future that happened to dont have sound... the problem with these games is that they dont suport DTS, you probably have DTS activated... what you need to do is click in the sound icon with the right click of the mouse ,click playback devices find your hometheater in the list ,right click it ,and choose properties ,go to advanced and change the default format to studio 2 chanel 24 bit 48.000 HZ (Studio quality} this way the sound will work normally in the game...

That didnt work but I got it fixed, the game doesnt support 7.1 virtual souround sound witch was the problem, I switched to my old wireless headset and it runs fine

Strange i use a hometheater too and its worked here... try to change in the settings of your hometheater to the value i said...

Yeah that doesnt seem to work :/ Just those headsets are not compatatible to that game I guess

You already tryed to change the settings in your headset to work with 2 chanels instead of 7.1 in my homether i cant get it to work with surround sound in ubisoft games every game its get mutted but after i change the setting to 2 channels it works...

Unless their is another wayh their is no way to do with my headest, razor synapse won't and their isn't a stereo option in windows for them. Its ok doe I will just use my other headset its ok

SOUND FIX..:

FarCry 4 No Sound FIX
1- Go to the System32 folder and SysWOW64 ( If you have ) and delete THIS audio files

"x3daudio1_0.dll to x3daudio1_7.dll " (you need to delete 7 files )
and
"XAudio2_0.dll to XAudio2_7.dll". ( you need to delete 7 files.)

2- Go in the game folder , Far Cry 4 \ Support \ Software \ DirectX and install a DXSETUP .
( i recommend right click and run as admin ).

3 Restart the PC .

4- Play. Hope this helps .

If the above did not solve your problem then you can try some other fixes

Select your sound card and change the settings so the playback will be
24bit 48000hz Many people write that this solve their problem.

You can also try to change your sound settings to play in "stereo" instead of 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.
