Report a translation problem
FarCry 4 No Sound FIX
1- Go to the System32 folder and SysWOW64 ( If you have ) and delete THIS audio files
"x3daudio1_0.dll to x3daudio1_7.dll " (you need to delete 7 files )
and
"XAudio2_0.dll to XAudio2_7.dll". ( you need to delete 7 files.)
2- Go in the game folder , Far Cry 4 \ Support \ Software \ DirectX and install a DXSETUP .
( i recommend right click and run as admin ).
3 Restart the PC .
4- Play. Hope this helps .
( I run my game with sound blaster Z with 5.1 and DTS enabled without issues now )..:
If the above did not solve your problem then you can try some other fixes

Right click the loudspeaker icon in the lower right corner of your screen.
Select your sound card and change the settings so the playback will be
24bit 48000hz Many people write that this solve their problem.

You can also try to change your sound settings to play in "stereo" instead of 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.

You can also try to open your sounds cards software program and turn off DTS and other features to see if this help.
