I don't know but as a french gamer I'm ashamed that the biggest french games company can't think about anything other than easy money in the short term.
What I am trying to say is, you can either stream it to your linux PC from a windows box...or dual boot.
BTW, is there any "feature request button" on Steam, something, where many people could vote for?
+1
What are you talking about? DX11 API calls can quite easily be translated to OpenGL 4.3 calls, which is exactly what Crytek does in the Linux version of the Cryengine. See http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTYzOTA
OpenGL is by no means being "completely rebuilt" or "discontinued", so please next time include some sources before making silly claims like that.
I would probably buy Far Cry if it came to Linux (hopefully without Uplay), so +1
Edit: silly me, I always believed Far Cry used the Cryengine, because of the name, hence the example I gave about the Cryengine translating DX11 to OGL4.3. I was surprised to learn it's a different engine altogether and I'm sure a company like Ubisoft has no interest in porting it.
That said, why not give Dying Light a shot. It supports Linux, and looks cool.
