ALOT of users have reported problems with the X box game pads on some confgurations
i used a USB Logitech Dual Action Wired Gamepad for the wingsuit stuff when the game first came out and had no problems ..but many still report problems with the X box ones ..
removed it and still cant use mouse.
whether i have my controller plugged in or not is entirely irrelevant :/
while running the u play Client as Run As Administrator
additionally if you want to use your game pad try to reconfigure it as there are several profiles provided in the game

i just started a new game here about 1/2 an hour ago it its working perfect here
i am using a logitech G400 S gameing mouse with Windows 10 Pro and a standard Dell PS2 keyboard (used a logitech USB wireless KB + mouse one as well as a compaq USB keyboard + microsoft wired and wireless mouse )
used the same setup with Windows 8.1 home 64 bit as well as windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
it may be your mouse is acting as a virtual Joystick device ..dont know as you have not provided that information or any system info ... so would i be unable to help you .. contact UBI Support https://support.ubi.com
as it looks like you do not own the Steam version of the title ..your main support option... i have already posted above ..you can call them on the phone during regular support hours that i have also provided links for

i have verified the files yes! do you have an xbox controller to check? because many people using a logitech are fine.
i guess ill have to use the support
