Blue spots at the mountains
Is it only me who get blue spots at the mountians behind Ghale homestead? I thought that it would disappear after a few patches but nooooo. It doesn't impact the game, but it kinda breaks the immersion

Screenshot? I haven't seen anything like you describe.

Before the first patch, all the towers'top lights were visible from infinite distances. Thst was a weird one.

Interesting. Looks like some textures not loading properly.

try turning down some settings in the video options

i see the same thing if i set the AA settings too high for my video card

Aren't those waterfalls? Might be missing waterfall textures. If lowering settings doesn't work, you could also try reverifying your game's files.

I have the same issue.

Might be a texture issue. Anyone got a solution yet or is this here to stay?

Same thing happens to me as well, just never worried about it because it is random.

again it used to happen to me on my AMD R 9 270 X card if i set the ambient occlusion settings as well as my AA method to high for my graphics card

try reduceing your settings ..it went away for me

I get this too sometimes, mostly at night. I'm using an AMD 280X. Seems somewhat counterintuitive to have to lower your graphical settings, thus getting an overall worse experience, in order to avoid getting some rather annoying graphical glitches.

I run a R9 290. Seems like this is an AMD "feature" then. Turning settings down does nothing for me. I guess I'll just avoid looking at the mountains too much xD

Personally, I wouldn't be too concerned and certainly not enough to adjust any settings. My gear is more than capable to handle this or any game on it's standard settings and I never experience this situation anywhere else.

In fact until I saw this post I had completely forgotten its existance and even on my next new game will not change a thing. From what I have experienced it is not consistant as well as fleeting and usually as soon as you move around it will dissapear. There is much more to conentrate on in the game than this event. That is of course it is much more obvious to other players on there systems.

More than one game has some sort of glitch in the visuals and if you were to adjust for one you may cause more problems for another, I just don't see need to adjust settings everytime you play and for the most part it is unneccesary.

We operate in a gaming world where you will never find utopia and I feel sure no matter what you do or don't do, some problems will always arrise irrespective of the gear you have.

I feel if the worst thing to occur is to have a momentary blue flash or anything else appear (particularly if it does not effect gameplay), don't lose sleep over it!

Thing is, as stated before, it breaks immersion. Which is a terrible thing to have in an open world game like this. Granted, it really isn't the worst form of immersion breaking, but it is an annoyance. An annoyance that, in my opinion, could have been patched out in this full-price-plus-season-pass triple A game.

As it stands though, it will not be. Tough luck for those affected. Again, no biggy, just a little "meh". :)

I get this too.
It fixes itself once i set Terrain quality to either Medium or Ultra
When its on "High" it causes those weird blue spots on some distant areas.

Almost 6 Years later and it is still in the Game... GG. Also on an AMD GPU with the latest Drivers. Anyone found a fix to it?
