i see the same thing if i set the AA settings too high for my video card
Might be a texture issue. Anyone got a solution yet or is this here to stay?
try reduceing your settings ..it went away for me
I run a R9 290. Seems like this is an AMD "feature" then. Turning settings down does nothing for me. I guess I'll just avoid looking at the mountains too much xD
Personally, I wouldn't be too concerned and certainly not enough to adjust any settings. My gear is more than capable to handle this or any game on it's standard settings and I never experience this situation anywhere else.
In fact until I saw this post I had completely forgotten its existance and even on my next new game will not change a thing. From what I have experienced it is not consistant as well as fleeting and usually as soon as you move around it will dissapear. There is much more to conentrate on in the game than this event. That is of course it is much more obvious to other players on there systems.
More than one game has some sort of glitch in the visuals and if you were to adjust for one you may cause more problems for another, I just don't see need to adjust settings everytime you play and for the most part it is unneccesary.
We operate in a gaming world where you will never find utopia and I feel sure no matter what you do or don't do, some problems will always arrise irrespective of the gear you have.
I feel if the worst thing to occur is to have a momentary blue flash or anything else appear (particularly if it does not effect gameplay), don't lose sleep over it!
Thing is, as stated before, it breaks immersion. Which is a terrible thing to have in an open world game like this. Granted, it really isn't the worst form of immersion breaking, but it is an annoyance. An annoyance that, in my opinion, could have been patched out in this full-price-plus-season-pass triple A game.
As it stands though, it will not be. Tough luck for those affected. Again, no biggy, just a little "meh". :)
It fixes itself once i set Terrain quality to either Medium or Ultra
When its on "High" it causes those weird blue spots on some distant areas.
