this game is annoying me to hell , these masks dont appear after spending 30mins climbing to top of mountain

its there is just hard to locate check in a nearby bolder i think or on a body laying on the ground .. i forget the exact location but several are kinda hidden and take a bit of poking around till ya notice them flashing the sound they emit is a good indicator of how close you are to it

there is a faster way up to that location too but you need to use the wingsuit and fly to the location from another nearby mountain top

You could always blow the area up with explosives (C4, grenade launcher, rockets, etc) where the eerie sound is greatest, destroying is as good as finding.

the musical que should help, but barring that obvious clue, just set a waypoint on the mask, then when you get close to it you will be able to see exactly where it is because it will be bracketed with a distance indicator on you screen

I went there to see if I could remember where that one had been located, no luck. What I do if I can't find a mask is back off to the edge of the blue, and mark it on the map, then get a line on where it is, move forward and try to find it (like St3amfails suggested) if that fails, I move to the side a bit and try to triangulate. If all else fails, place C4 all around, get a safe distance away and blast it. Wish I could help more, but I just can't remember that one.

yep thanks found him slumped over in a ditch faraway from the map marker dont know if was alive before but wasted 1 hour in that area looking around , geezzz ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz after that boring time looking i need a nap

I know that this is 10 years late, but in case anyone else comes here looking for the answer (It was the first thread to pop up when I Googled it) the mask is under the right plane wing.
