Black screen and saving issues

eveerytime I die or beat the prologue I get a black screen and I have to close the game. The game isn't saving either.

Have you verified you game files ? Look in the tips section at the top of the forum for details on how to verify your game file cache

i did but i am still having problems with the game

please do the following

up top in steam look for the help section

clik on that

then clik system information

let that load , only take a few seconds

once that loads with your system information

right clik on that

select all

then right clik agian select copy

then when you post back

right clik and select paste on your reply

hey Mustafa, do you have the game set to automatically update? what build are you on?

first thing i woud do is update your video Drivers they are really out of date

Driver Date: 12 Sept 2013 version 327.23 they pre date the launch date of the game

so that should help you quite a bit as the latest drivers are version 347.52

as to the save issiue you could also open your u play client and clik the little gear in there for settings and try shutting off the u play cloud sync (just uncheck the option)

that does cause issiues alot of times with corrupted save files an such

ok i updated my video drive and i unchecked cloud sync hopefully it fixes the problems

i think the drivers alone will help you.... plus could give you a decent performance boost
as the ones you were useing were over a year old

i knew my computer would be able to play the game, ive had to restart the game like 10 times and everytime it crashes after the prologue or when i die. The worst part is watching the synematic movie in the beginning over and over again.

You need to go to youtube and search and open gae files also change max to 0

what ya might wanna check tho too is whats auto loading up in the backround of the game (ie things that auto load with windows )

try eliminating anything you do not need loading as this game is a resource HOG

and wants as much of your system memory as you can give it

and some software like MSI afterburner
riva tuner as well as evga precision can cause issiues

as well as some game perhiphals like game pads can cause issiues

also your 760 might not run the game in high or ultra settings ..sorry but its true

The video card we had to make the most sacrifices on at 1080p was the GeForce GTX 760, a Kepler GPU. Once again, we see Kepler struggling in this game. We had to set most of the settings to "Medium" which is three settings down from "Ultra" settings. We even had to set one setting, Geometry, down to "Low" just to be playable. Of course Godrays was out of the question. This was the worse performing card, well worse than R9 270X at least.
