Silencers
When do you get access to silencers on weapons? It's a bit hard to be stealth when you don't have them.

Don't really want to play the campaign, just mess around in the world at my own tempo. But I guess I have to.

Hate these unlock hell games these days.

Not all weapons have silencer attachment. If you browse through the store you can see which guns allow the extra components.

I can't find any that does, so I just assume they are locked for now?

The bow and arrow is the ultimate stealth weapon in this game. But it sounds like you've just come outta the prologue, so yea I guess you'll be sticking with the AK rifle for a bit longer.

The earliest sidearm that is silenced that I know of is that A.J.M. 9 one you get by unlocking it in Uplay with a few points, like 30 I think.

The A.J.M. 9 refers to the 1987 sci-fi film RoboCop, bearing the initials of the Detroit police officer and titular cyborg character, Alex J. Murphy. The weapon is also modelled after the Auto 9, RoboCop's modified Beretta 93R.

Yeah I just got that, it's nice. Thanks for the reference.

Download a mod that will allow attachments to more weapons. Also a mod that unlocks a bunch of weapons from the start if you so desire.

Its a grind, but if you're willing to fight till level 10 in the arena, you get the Bushman, which is basically a silenced M4 carbine. That was my default assault rifle for most of the game.

I had enough of bows and arrows after 150 hours of Skyrim. :-)

This mod should be mandatory!

By the time you get to the arena you should already have the Rebel, a much more ammo efficient silenced AK. just hijack royal cargo

I got the Sandman (silenced M1911) as a pre-order bonus. Silenced handgun is kinda useless. It often brings you close enough for melee kills in order to get clean headshots.

I snipe with handguns from quite a way away. How are you guys doing it? Maybe it's my precision gaming mouse, but I don't have any trouble picking off bad guys with headshots with a pistol.
