If you have not done so already, please submit your msinfo and dxdiag to the tech team so we may look into this. You may attach the files to Support here: https://support.ubi.com
In the meantime, please check that all other drivers are up to date in the meantime.
just asking as i was planning on buying a faster Nvidia Gpu .... on my next build project
as my system is old as dirt ..
asus P5 B from 2007 bios version 1604
Intel Q6600
8 gig of DDR 2
Amd asus R 9 270 X
as i have seen soo many posts about issiues with the nvidia cards and drivers
and my AMD cards run the game great hell i acually only had an HD 7750 1 gig card in for the first 3 weeks this game was out ..and still had not a single crash
got the r 9 270x in the second week of December
your 660ti should be able to handle the game tho with its number of pixel and vertex shaders
but not at the highest settings
more info on your GPU can be found here if your intrested in compareing GPU features toward your next vid card
http://pclinks.xtreemhost.com/video.htm
your card is very close to mine as far as performance ..beats me in shaders ..but slower in mem bandwitdh
as i know my R 9 270 X even right out of the box needed one ..you'd find that at the manufacturers site
then i did a clean install of the updated AMD drivers and i know they say on Nvidia cards you should use ddu and always go with a clean install of your drivers
-Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Far Cry 4 and find FarCry4.dll
-Delete FarCry4.dll
-Verify your files through Steam or Uplay
-It will tell you the game needs to be repaired and will download the file. Playing solid for 2 hours now after getting random crashing on my GTX 980.
ggreen737, I will try what you said and report back!
