Hurk Deluxe Pack: worth it?

Thread title says it all, how are the missions/weapons for £5.99?

well the missions are not that long .. the guns i found upon starting a new game yesterday very helpful at the start of the game.... but i have not played the missions yet ... well other then the Hurk Stuff i had that since i pre ordered the game so i have the limited edition + some bonus content
(3 missions with hurk + harpoon gun ) then bought the season pass during the x mas sale

Mission 1 (20 mins): Fight dangerous enemies in the ice caves of snow-capped mountains to retrieve a rare artifact.
Mission 2 (20 mins): What's better than riding elephants? Fighting waves of enemies on an elephant with Hurk by your side.
Mission 3 (20 mins): In this epic finale, chase down an enemy convoy and save Hurk from certain death.


and i have just completed Act 1 so now blood ruby and the syringe show on my map after beating the level A Cultural Exchange.

yak farm you get after completing Key to the north

the elephant gun Signature weapon kills a rhino with 3 shots .. 1 if you get a good head shot

plus it makes bad guys fly thru the air when ya shoot em = )

the driller PKM sig weapon is a bit inacurate i prefer the MG42 or Buzzsaw

the sandman silenced .45 i did use quite a bit and works good in steath close range situations

the Butcher’s Machete is only available in the arena i belive and i didnt stay there long enough to get it .. only played one round to unlock my bushman rifle

and again if you pre orderd the gold version you already have all that content already other then the Yak farm mission

so it really comes down to what version of the game you bought
as to what you have

there was for a short period of time a standard edition of the game available from some retailers that has no Hurk Missions at all ..unless of course unless you buy the season pass or the Hurk Deluxe DLC

yea Yak Farm was the only thing new that I saw since I got gold edition, it wasn't anything special, it was short like the other DLC missions

Yes they will show up as Yellow Stars on the south section as well as a Blue "H"

i dont know as one guy posted last night he still has no Hurk stuff
you may need to start the game over for Hurk to show up as it happnes pretty early in the game when you first encounter him

he bought the standard edition of the game from green man gameing so he had no hurk missions

and if you start a new game BACK UP YOUR SAVE FILE

then before you start go into your c program filesX 86 ubisoft /ubisoft game launcher /save games /folder sub folder/ in there will be a series of letters and numbers open that

look for folder number 420 or 856

depends on where you bought your game u play or steam

open that folder and manually delete the saves in that folder

otherwise weird bugs happen like i didnt get any more Pagans wrath convoys showing up at all and was unable to get the vehicle take down skill as the bad guys always showed up on foot rather then in cars or trucks when i re-did the Karati films raceing quests

after starting a new game and leaving those files in place

i also HAVE disabled the u play cloud save function in Uplay settings as it causes more problems then its worth

and do my own manual save back ups now

that way i can replay some of the missions that i like

You get the guns and extra stuff for completing the missions. And I just have the Season pass because it'll save me money in the future. Plus I am a huge Farcry fan so I bought the Gold Edition anyways :D

5 missions and 4 weapons (3 of them free in shop from the very start of the game) for 6 bucks??? - Definately worth it!
I personally woudl pay it just for the Driller (and the Elephant gun) - for me it's a game changing backup weapon for situations when sh*t hits the fan... ;)))
