Cheats in coop?

A friend and I will be trying out coop soon. Sometimes we like to goof off or experiment using cheats.

Does anyone know if there'll be any issues if one of us were to use something like an infinite ammo/throwables cheat?

I tried to look around a little, and it doesn't seem like the cheats we have been using in single player are the same as some of the ones I've seen people talk about. They aren't permanent and are disabled when the game is shut down.

Nothing wrong using cheats in a 2 player coop game between friends. I do not encourage, in fact, I am against using them in regular/public online games.

There's a reason why I'm on here asking about it instead of hopping in coop and using them blindly. If we can't determine whether or not anything will happen we'll just not use them.

Trainers are fine? Awesome! We've been using the +16 trainer we got off off GameCopyWorld by HoG.

One other thing you could try. Try only the person playing as Ajay to use the trainer just in case. And see if the effects pass on to the other.

Because I am miffed. I joined someone and ended up with over 9 Million XP.

im late but did you get banned or is it fine to use trainers in CO-OP

Oh wow. This is super old. Totally forgot about it.

It was fine as long as it was the host doing so.... but that was a long time ago. Things may have changed since then. If you plan on trying it out in co-op with a friend, exercise caution.
