FAR CRY 4 WONT INSTALL

hey waited untill it was all patched up and popped for it on this steam sale. it wont install.
i have gotten not enough disk space. then after deleting the local content and trying agian
several times its now saying disk read error or some crap. have a steam help page saved talkin about plugging into my modem directly and then trying a ton of other stuff but im not going to try it untill after the sale. the witcher 2 does the same thing. its like SOMETHING wont let me download 20 plus gig games off of steam. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i need to blow away bad guys in the mountains. help me do this wont u?

It will more than likely be your Anti-Virus or Firewall that is causing the problem.

so just disable bit defender [ somehow ] install then pop it back on? ill try it thanks.

tried just disabeling part of it. now doing it right hopefully. anti virus , web , everything totally disabled . deleted local far cry 4 content its preallocating agian now. will definatily make a forum for this if it works for this and the witcher 2.

nope now its back to not enough disk space error. thats whats so screwy i have gotten several errors that are totally different at totally different times. if i buy the boxed copy is it going to be a steam code in a box? because i tried to stay away from sream a while back when 300 plus bucks of my games and programs got stolen at once from here. bought EVERY kind of skyrim just to try to avoid this. talk about a monopily.

thats whats soooo screwy. it has given me several different error messages. and behaves very similarly to how the witcher 2 has been for me. the only thing i see that is common between the two is they are big. i have almost a whole terabyte. found a good thread on tom hardware. lots of stuff to try. and the sream page has stuff to. when i get it figured out ill be sure to let people know all the fixes i came by that have worked for some. people should really be able to play the games they have waited on for years. steam totally needs real on the phone tech support horrabbily bad. even more than i need a spell checker.

EXIT steam

when ya re-launch steam try right clicking your steam icon and select run as administrator

and yes the game is a huge DL its over 37 gig in size on my disk anyway

does your PC meet the minimum system requirements ? and do you have a quad core CPU ?

please do the following

up top in steam look for the help section

clik on that

then clik system information

let that load , only take a few seconds

once that loads with your system information

right clik on that

select all

then right clik agian select copy

then when you post back

right clik and select paste on your reply

NO ONE CAN HELP TILL YOU POST THIS INFO as we have no idea what you are trying to run the game on .............

That's a good question.

I'm actually using Bootcamp on a Mac Pro, which is Quad-core 2.8Ghz. Fresh install of Windows 7 with only games installed, and Chrome. I've still got plenty of disk space, all my games go on a seperate 1TB HDD with more than enough free space.

I'm only having problems downloading THIS game. Steam will start allocating space, then it'll stop and tell me an error occured (not enough disk space)... which makes no sense. When I ignore that message and click install a second time, it'll tell me Steam is now downloading. BUT the download will stop after a while, and say UPDATE REQUIRED: NOT QUEUED. So I checked if Steam was up to date... it is.

I don't really understand what's happening, because I downloaded + installed BF4 from Origin which is just as large in size and I had no issues. I even tried downloading other games from Steam after FC4 failed and they worked. So that rules out internet problems IMO.
