Does coop still work?

would advise against even trying it. I had almost 100% completion and tried to join a coop session but bugged out an crashed shortly after. After restarting the game i had lost all my money, skills and xp, karma and ammo (i still had my weapons). Multiple restarts didnt make it any better. Long story short i sent a ticket to ubisoft support and they basically told me this 9 yo game doesnt not have client support anymore. Gotta have to start a new game, since i have no xp or money and I pretty much finished all missions, so there's nowhere to get it all again from.

If you mean coop for custom maps, no. The map browser went down around the 8th. For campaign-ish coop, it works for me. But, I'm doing it with a friend, not through matchmaking. No idea if the latter works.
