How to use Hunting & other syringes

I really hate this syringe setup compared to FarCry 3. in 3 you could assign a button to easily use it. In this you have to press one button, then another (im using a 360 controller, have to press left B, then right B just to open the menu... so while youve got your fingers pressed down on 2 buttons already, then it says Press RT to craft syring... ok so I crafted one. Now how do I use it??? I mashed buttons and once in awhile it will inject one, but it doesnt say how to use it... only how to craft it. This is so lame i cant even describe my frustration, i am 1/4 through the game , this should be so easy.

It's a lot easier on PC but, you controller people just can't get it, PC, Is The Master Race.

I don't use controllers... but uhm... how do you select weapons in that weapon wheel for controllers? Doesn't it work the same way?

hmm i just press Q and hit mouse button 2 .. i can craft and use my syringes easy by pressing mouse 1

So I am on a PC, with a 360 controller. I dont like using a keyboard to play games because I like to chillax on my couch and play. A keyboard is too unweildy. . . As for the wheel, yeah I bring that up, but once I bring it up I dont know what to do. To get the wheel up is kind of a pain. Press Left Button to open weapons wheel, then press Right Button to get Syringe wheel, then the syringe wheel up, the Hunting syringe is on the right.... but if you select it it then says Press Right Trigger to craft... nothing about using, just crafting. So I craft it. ok now I want to use it... How the ♥♥♥♥ do I use it.
