Far Cry 4 Launch Crash

i just installed Far Cry 4 on steam, everytime i try to launch it stops responding and sends me back to desktop.

Is there a solution to this?

post your full Steam System info .. this helps ! .. thanks !

look up top in steam look for where it says Help (right above the word LIBRARY)

clik on that (it will open a drop down menu)

then clik system information

let that load , only takes a few seconds

once that loads with your system information

right clik on that

then select all

then right clik again select copy

then when you post back

right clik and select paste on your reply

try closeing all backround applications before you launch the game

see the troubleshooting tips section PINNED to the TOP of the Forum

also try launching Steam as an Administrator and verify your game files

Hey, i had a similar problem with the game!

it would just open and then send me to the "thankyou for playing for 00hours 0mins"

after Fanegeling around with the files, i found the most hassle free fix was to just uninstall the Uplay Client and reinstall it. only takes around 5 mins and fixed all my issues.

yea thats another problem Steam does not give the updated version of the Uplay client alot of the time ..and the old version may not work any longer as Ubisoft does update their client

this is also covered in the troubleshooting tips section point #11
