Nvidia Driver 361.75. 361.91 , 362.00 DOES NOT WORK with FarCry4..shadow play bug will crash game

many people are reporting problems with this driver , FarCry 4 crashes with shadowplay open , DISABLE NVIDIA SHADOW PLAY if you installed Geforce experience

361.91 does the same thing

you can install your driver without Geforce experience ... and have no problem or just disable geforce experience Shadow play

Nvidia said no fix is planned until the next Major Driver Branch and its still a bug in 362.00

i used DDU to remove my old Nvidia driver in safe mode

then when i installed the 361.75 driver i selected custom install , i only installed
1. the video Driver
2. HDMI audio
3.PhysX

again i did not install Geforce experience , or any of the 3d Vision software and chose perform a clean install

best advice , stick with older Nvidia drivers until they fix the bugs or disable Nvidia Shadow Play

I had same trouble so i just went back to December Driver & turned off "Experience" and played no problem.

yea i have no problem at all with these drivers , they are working for me , but i did not install geforce Exp , + i got rid of the eject My GTX 960 in my taskbar with the registry fix

i still do not know why it installed Optimus software on my Desktop , as i do not have any other GPU in my system other then my Asus Srtix GTX 960
(my old core 2 quad CPU does not have any Intel HD video chip on it )

i guess to support that new thunderbolt 3 beta option ? ... but my motherboard does not have a thunderbolt 3 port ..so thats another bug in the driver

My system is usually rock solid on all gameplay , but I too have been running into some stability problems with the 351.75's . If it persists , I''ll revert to an older set of drivers .

I got it to work with 361.75 drivers by just disabling the share function in Geforce Experience. But Nvidia really needs to fix this. Have had missing sound with some games, now this Far Cry 4 crashing before start... not really good for Nvidia.

I was having the same problem with 361.75 on windows 10 but these hotfix drivers 361.82 are working for me without problem...

did you install geforce Experience ? manuel G (from Nvidia) posted just last night that there is still a bug in shadow play on the Nvidia Forums

Hey just a heads up guys there is a hotfix driver out there - check out the geforce forums as they released a hotfix for that eject thing. I'm still running 361.43 so I haven't noodled around with any of the newer drivers, but just fyi for you guys who are having some trouble.

yea i already took care of the eject GPU thing sticking with the 361.75's till the next driver release , not having a problem as i never install geforce Exp

people still have this problem and are not seeing my post about it .. YES THE 361,75 Nvidia driver will cause FarCry 4 to crash if you have Geforce Experience and shadow Play installed
