but FC4 takes a better machine to run , you have to have a quad core CPU (dual core CPU's are not supported by Far Cry 4 )
and a decent good video card (not a laptop , unless you have a real expensive good gameing laptop with a Great GPU )
you also must have a 64 bit operating system to run Far Cry 4
Far Cry 4 many say has a weaker story line but i like FC4 better then 3 as it adds alot of gameplay stuff , like the gyro copter and riding elephants , being able to use a grapple hook to climb , more weapons . more insane wildlife that wants to eat you at every turn , throwable knives + more side missions
Far Cry 3 is still a great game .. but i honestly like Far Cry 4 more then 3
FC 4, main story seems more mature, side missions seem to be more meaningful and more interesting, game play has more challenge in it. Vehicles handle better, copter is good when you remember about it, grapple hook no biggie, animals are more aggressive and faster, QTE has been minimal so far but only 18hrs in. Game play just feels better in FC4, elephants are a nice addition but too bad I can't heal them. I can play for 1-2hrs just running around killing bad guys and finding stuff not really progressing the main story but still being satisfied with my time spent playing.
Hardware FX8350 4.4ghx/R9 280x 3GB/24GB ram/1080p. Both fc3/4 can play with most of the bells and whistles on at maxed or a notch under maxed and get FC3 45-75fps / FC4 48-85fps, I can run ultra textures in FC4 but I didn't like the look so I run very high.
FC3 on sale is well worth it $7-$10 off and on, I paid $43 long time ago. $27+$3 Hurk dlc for FC4 I don't regret it
I use a laptop and it runs like a dream. I don't think mine is the best you can get either to be fair. From what I've read however, it seems pretty decent. I have an Intel® Core™ i7-4510U Processor (4M Cache, up to 3.10 GHz) and run on Ultra graphics (maybe my 16GB RAM makes up for it).
graphics look great, runs smooth as butter......
only problem I've got is freeze when I exit options menu!
as long as I dont have to change anything its not a big problem for me.
there are a ton of laptops out there that have really low end gpu's
and a desktop GPU is always faster and has more bandwidth and more pixel and vertex shaders shaders (cuda cores)
a GTX 460 M is slower then a GTX 460 desktop card

The soundtrack still gives me chills.
"I'm sorry" and "falling into a dream".. Just perfect.
FC4 is technically better from a gameplay point of view but I can't say I have enjoyed it more overall.
I have exactly same feeling with you . thx for ur opinion :)

The best map editting tool of all time. ever
Also the hardest cars to drive of all time
I played Far Cry 3 through halfway, got a bit iffy on it, installed these two mods, played it all the way through twice and as soon as I completed it I just loaded it straight up again. That's how good it is.
Far Cry 4 is good but just not as good.
