FAR CRY 4 Windows 10 Fix

Win 10 (and maybe other version) fix:
Go to where your game is installed, e.g. mine was E:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Far Cry 4\bin

Then right click on FarCry4.exe and select Properties, got to compatibility tab, then select Run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows 7 in the drop down.
Then select Run this as Administrator. Click ok.

When you start the game, accept the UAC prompt with 'Yes' (do you want to all this app to make changes to your PC?) .
Game should now work...good luck!

No problems running FC 4 here on WIndows 10. I have UAC turned off.

Hey, thanks a lot, this fixed the startup crash on the Uplay version for me.

No idea why, though, since the game was running just fine normally in Win10 a few months ago.

Edit: Unfortunately though, this method seems to break steam controller support.
