Need Help With Library; New PC
I just got a new computer, but most of my games are on my external HDD. After installing steam on the new PC and connecting the HDD, it asks me to install the games again; it seems the new PC has the HDD under a new drive letter and thinks the games aren't installed.
How do I tell steam my games are on my HDD so I don't need to re-download anything/so steam doesn't start re-downloading games?

Never mind, I discovered how to resolve it. For anyone else who may have the problem in the future:

Steam was not detecting the HDD. I clicked on "Install," as if I intended to start installing the game again, then I noticed it didn't show the HDD as an option to install to. I then selected add storage and selected the HDD. After adding the HDD as a storage drive, it then detected my entire library and made the games available to play.
