Another question about coop. Hurk´s missions in standard edtion of game.
I have bought the standard edition of game recently on Uplay. I completed main campaign, made all quests for L and Y but never the sign of H missions showed up. It is enabled to show up in menu of map. I wanted to play coop H missions but seems it is impossible,

Could someone confirm that H missions were removed from standard edition of game with latest updates of game, or never existed and only available with Season pass ?

I have read also that users have the problem with Season Pass, it just does not show up in-game. Does this issue still persist ? I would not like to spend more money on thing which does not work.

Thanks in advance for info.

Hurk's three single-player missions are in the Hurk's Redemption DLC; they're not part of the main game.

Once you've met Hurk in the main game (after leaving Banapur valley), co-op becomes enabled and if you join up with a friend the host will be playing Ajay and the guest will be playing Hurk.

the reason many have an Issue with the season pass is they buy the WRONG version

Steam has its own version of the Far Cry 4 base game
so if you buy the Uplay only version of the base FarCry 4 game you need to buy a Uplay only version of the FarCry 4 season pass or DLC for it to work properly

the Steam an Uplay versions of the game store files in different locations

they also have a different location for your save files in the Uplay game launcher

so if you bought a Uplay only version do not buy the season pass or DLC on Steam
you need to buy a Uplay only version

see : http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1028058-season-pass-not-working

as to Hurk not showing up you should have seen him at the mission where you take the second outpost @ khilina bazaar that = the end of ACT 1 of the game .. you must complete Act One of the game to unlock co op play it happens as soon as meet Hurk on the back of a truck i think

if he was not there you may have a Standard version of the game

Hurks redemption was included with the Limited Edition of the FarCry 4 base game (thats the only version Steam sells i belive ..the Limited Edition also available on AMAZON .com as a Uplay only version on DVD )

i have seen a few posts in the past from prople who said they also got a NO hurk version of the game .. but its rare to find as i do not think many retail outlets sold that version ??

just remember if you buy DLC do not buy it on Steam ..unless you buy your game ON steam ....get it from the Ubisoft web store ,or other online site that sells a Uplay only version

even the origin version of the base far cry 4 season pass and DLC is not compatable with the Steam version ..they have a disclaimer at the bottom of the page on origins store page

https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/far-cry/far-cry-4/expansion/far-cry-4-season-pass

since their version is Uplay only

it says

IMPORTANT NOTE: FAR CRY 4® SEASON PASS PURCHASED THROUGH ORIGIN WILL NOT WORK WITH BASE FAR CRY 4® GAME VERSIONS PURCHASED THROUGH STEAM.

oh also Hurk mission are not available in co op

FarCry 4 Co op is limited

you can only play some side missions take outposts and towers and forts in co op , as well as play around in the open world

main game missions are not avaiable in far cry 4 co op

more info can be found here
http://www.co-optimus.com/article/12555/far-cry-4co-op-faq.html

that page does have a few errors tho

as the syringe mission is not available in co op , i think they wanted to make it that way, and it just didn't work out

Thanks for replies. Just... when people read the question, do they really do it?

I said, I bought standard edition on Uplay, I did not ask about missions included in DLC.

Curious to know that there are versions without Hurk. Weird thing. SOF=WID99, you say Hurk´s mission is not available in coop . On the web you gave the link
http://www.co-optimus.com/article/12555/far-cry-4co-op-faq.html...read :

"How do you begin a co-op session in Far Cry 4?

Co-Op begins about 90 minutes into the story, once you complete Act 1 and open up the world. From there you can look for co-op markers on the map (marked with an H). ..."

And there is no any H in my game. And I said that I completed the main campaign entirely. not only act 1....And I know that main campaign is not for coop.

well i would verify your game files first

If you have the Uplay only Version of the game you can verify your game files with U play (again launch Uplay as Run As Administrator)

if you have the game via u play only here are instructions how to verify your game files thru their client (scroll down to the bottom of the following page )

https://support.ubi.com/en-US/FAQ/60/3888/how-do-i-install--uninstall--verify-a-game-in-uplay/kA030000000ee85CAA

launch Uplay as Run as an Admin for best results as it sounds like your game may be goofed up or a bad install that did not update

where did you get your copy from may i ask ?

pretty sure almost all versions have the 3 hurk single player missions

you have to play other missions till; they appear

Hurk’s Redemption

Speak No Evil - accessible after completing Sermont on the Mount ( Loginus Mission).
Call of the Wild - accessible after completing Speak No Evil.
A Familiar Feeling - accessible after completing Call of the Wild and Key to the North.
Harpoon Gun - Available in the shop after completing A Familiar Feeling.

and i do recall clockner saying they didnt show up till he verified his game files on the ubi forums

was never an problem here on any of my 5 systems i used since the game shipped

also check on your main game screen make sure you have the up to date version of the game

its 1.10.0

look in the lower left side

not to be confused with 1.1.0 ,,,as they never released a 1.1.0 version of the game

the night the game shipped on nov 18th 2014 it was already patched to 1.2.0 on steam

and as far as i know the uplay store never sold any digital edition that did not include the

Hurk’s Redemption

Speak No Evil - accessible after completing Sermont on the Mount ( Loginus Mission).
Call of the Wild - accessible after completing Speak No Evil.
A Familiar Feeling - accessible after completing Call of the Wild and Key to the North.
Harpoon Gun - Available in the shop after completing A Familiar Feeling.

that standard edition was only sold over PS 3 and 4 for a short time and i thought was patched up to 1.10.0 by now to include it

if ya can't get it to show up contact Ubi support directly ..either by Phone or use Twitter

also check your DVD ..if you got the game on DVD ..you may need to add an extra cd key

early version of the game you had multiple cd keys you needed to activate in the Uplay client

i bought the game on steam the night it shipped ...

then added the season pass on steam a month later ..so i got the hurk pack the day the game shipped (nov 18 2014)

a month later i got the season pass and had to add keys into Uplay to unlock the added content (december 2014)

got only the syringe mission to unlock at first then the escape from durgesh came out bumped my game to version 1,6

1.6.0 was delayed for steam users for 3 weeks .. then i got 1.7.0 in jan 2015

(but i already had the hurk redemption missions + harpoon gun ever since Nov 18th 2014)

every one got patch on the same day (1.7.0 ) uplay versions and steam ..same with 1.8.0 in febuary 2015 and 1.9.0 in march 2015 and 1.10.0 as the final patch in April as those patches not only had DLC but extra fixes to the game that were added no matter what version you bought

again where did you buy the game from ?

and have you downloaded and installed the latest version of Uplay from the Uplay web site

older versions may no longer work (including the ones that come on the DVD copy)

you can get the latest version of Uplay here
https://uplay.ubi.com

The game updates automatically on Uplay ( even if you have this option disabled) and you can not avoid the updates on Steam. So do not insist with the versions.
I deal that no coop H in the game now and I leave to worry about this anymore. Fraud of coop game in all it sense anyways.

Also the platforms update themselves automatically. You can not use them unless you download and install all updates.

yes you have to have your game on the up to date version to use co op

so does the person youwish to connect too

sounds like you have a pirate version ?? if you do not want to update your game ??

last patch came out over a yr ago after all .....

contact Ubi Support

all co op and multiplayer is done via Uplay in this game and yes if you have a router you may need to foward ports or shut down certian ones in your firewall software to allow connection

sounds to me tho that you do not have an up to date or legal version of the game ..so good luck

contact ubisoft support again this is best done via Phone or twitter if you want fast results

other wise open a support ticket with Ubisoft support for your region

https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/Contact#en-gb

Stop to reply and say inappropriate stupid things.
-=SOF=-WID99 Sep 18, 2016 @ 4:20pm
why is it stupid ?? please explain??

also yes on steam you can select to not have the game keep up to date .. same with Uplay settings

Steam or Uplay also will only install the up to date version at this point ... version 1.10.0
so does origin

ubisoft support can tell you ....by your cd key and account what version you own

i only tried to assist you .. so if i cant help.... your best bet = Ubi Support .i will no longer reply as i do belive you have a problem....... i can no longer help ya with

you do not have the game ON Steam

So ... you need to contact Ubisoft SUPPORT ... if you bought a uplay only version of the title

or if you were stupid to post here an ya have a pirate version and expect it to work with co op or multiplayer LOL :steammocking:

no it will not ..not without Uplay and the latest version of the Uplay client

I will say you a couple of things. Maybe you have pirated Steam and Uplay?
Cause there are only 3 options on Steam for automatic updates : 1 . Keep this game updated. 2. Update this game each time you launch it. 3 High priority: always update this game at first place.
If you do not update the game, Steam will not let you play.

And even if you have updates disabled on Uplay, the game will download all updates it got since release. I only could stop patching on one game, Splinter Cell Blacklist.

Other. If you want to help to someone, reply on concrete question he made, do not explain the obvious things about platforms and do not insult.

That I did not buy game on Steam, does not mean I ask here about pirated version. Do not insult my intelligence.

The question was directed to the persons who played standard edtion of game and if there were H missions presented, as supposed they are used to play coop. I did not get response.

Category Theory Sep 18, 2016 @ 9:50pm
Man, you two guys are great at talking past each other.

Rontonik: I think the issue may be this, which I guess I did not explain clearly enough in my first post:

1. There are three Hurk missions available with the DLC. These are single-player missions andI believe they can't even be played in co-op.

2. Whether you have the DLC or not, you can meet Hurk just after the end of Act one (after taking the first outpost). This is in just the base game, with no DLC at all. Once you have done this, co-op play is enabled where the host plays Ajay and the guest plays Hurk. Most missions cannot be done in co-op mode; mainly it's there so you can run around the world with your friend and take outposts.
rontonik Sep 19, 2016 @ 12:34am
I was about to play coop with 1 friend who has game on Steam, by the way. And we both discovered that we have no H marks on the map. I know about DLC contents and Season pass. I said already that I know that the main campaign is not playable in coop, that you can do nothing really in coop to progress in story etc. ...They were saying "go to H mark to play coop"... Even though the progress is saved for host only, we wanted to play those H missions.
Thought that maybe something wrong with my game, then other got the same result.

As I comprehend, there are no H missions in standard edition and if someone wants to play this, not just mess up around, needs to buy Season Pass.

This must be pointed on the page of store or at the official web of game. Say " there are not any coop missions in standard game, only in Season Pass ", clear as water.
The proper idea of coop gaming is vanished in this game as you can not enjoy story mode in coop and only get some xp, money and guns, and the outposts you liberate together, only will count for 1 player. Even about this I knew from forums. It just for people who likes to play whatever with friends for fun.
Category Theory Sep 19, 2016 @ 4:35am
"H" marks indicate single-player missions from the DLC, as per my point 1 above, and they have nothing to do with co-op. Co-op is straight drop-in; you don't need to be in any particular location to start it.

There are a few side missions in the base game I think you can do in co-op, such as hostage rescues, but I don't believe that the DLC provide any missions at all you can do in co-op.
