Far Cry 3 now for Free

Far cry 3 is now free on ubisoft official website store and uplay connect until 11th sept , Grab if anyone wants the game .

it is a very similar game to FC4, you pay by making an account and downloading uplay, which is kinda clean. But as far as i know online funcions have been disabled and there are some wait times in the menues because of it. Must disable internet to get around this minor annoyance.

dont feel bad its only the standard edition , if ya buy the far cry 5 season pass you get the deluxe version free or FAR CRY 3 anyway

and who knows they may be giving it away again by the end of the year for the UBI 35 celebration at X mas time , they gave away blood dragon a few yrs back for the UBI 30 one i think

they also gave far cry 3 away about a yr or two ago as i recall ..for free ..yep was a year ago

also i would not be surprised to see far cry 3 get dumped as far as MP or co op support as the game shipped in 2012 , once far cry 6 ships

as they have already moved the game to legacy support

as yes FAR CRY 3 is OLD , and not many users still fill the servers on a daily basis , and i'm sure the net code in it is outdated by now on a game that shipped that long ago

far cry 1 and 2 lost mp support after about 10 yrs too

the "deluxe" version which you get with farcry 5 dlc is just the regular version with another name. It does not contain the FC3 dlc

There is coop support? Not that i know of

WHAT ? i bought far cry 5 gold before the game shipped on UBI connect , and it gave me a free copy of far cry 3 Deluxe added to my library , so yes MINE has the DLC included once that was released as part of the FAR CRY 5 SEASON pass

didn't matter anyway as i already owned the Deluxe version already on steam .. so now i have 2 copies far cry 3 Deluxe in my library

but yes you should get the deluxe Edition of FAR CRY 3 with the purchase of the far cry 5 season pass

Will PC players receive the same version as console players?
Players on PC will receive Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition, as it was released in 2012. Players on Console will receive the Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, a version improved for the current generation of consoles.

i bought the FC5 dlc in retail

hurk missions or other FC3 deluxe content does not show up for me, neither does it for many other customers. Good to hear that at least for some people it registers correctly.

Apparently i have to put in another key in FC3 to unlock the delx content but no such key has been provided

have you tested it?^
