Is there a quick-save button?

I feel awkward writing this since game of this scale should already have it but the save system in this game tilts me up so badly that I had to ask. I just died after 30 mins of roaming around, collecting collectibles and just because I jumped on a rope and slided 200 meters, game said "failed" to a quest which I "HAD TO" pick up since it didn't ask or anything. It also didn't even TELL me that I can't go elsewhere or anything. Now my game just reloaded the closest save which was 30 mins before. I mean I know how incompetent they are but I still want to ask with a little hope in mind, can I save whenever I want?

You can save manually, press ESC and there is save and exit, and save at the bottom.

Unofortunately no it has a checkpoint save system, You can save manually but it doesnt work with some missions, it will make you start the mission from beginning again when you load the game up.

you can not save in the middle of a mission and quit the game \

complete the mission or abandon it by pressing escape and select abandon mission

fast travel to a safe house and select save an QUIT

FAR CRY 3 Worked the exact same way

This is the main problem of the far cry series imho. I save A LOT in games for reasons and I just can't feel safe when I don't save often. Losing play time gives me cancer. Thanks for the answers guys.

Where is quick load button? Because it uncomfortable to always save & quit and load a game again.

When i get done with a mission and i want to fast travel it said that its unavailible no matter what and i cant save and quit so what do i do? When i hit save and exit it said that u cant save while a auto save is going but no auto save is going! And when i die the game freezes and it stays black and the audio keeps looping over and over and then i have to alt f4 and then lose all my progress for like 10 minutes!
