How to stop a mission

I have been trying for 4 days to kill Kalinag, and I simply can't do it even on easy. It's too difficult for me to kill them all and takedown Kalinag the 3 times necessary.
I'm very frustrated, but partly because I can see no way to back out of the mission and play the rest of the game.
Don't give me tips on how to kill Kalinag please, I've spent 4 days on this I can't do it. I just need to know how to restart without continually going back to the start of the entire mission.

select abandon mission

note you can not get the story to progress till you complete that mission
to beat it remember to use cover as much as you can

If it's taking you that long to beat this mission, maybe perhaps you're barking up the wrong tree?. Not saying your crap, im saying you're probably missing something.

go watch a few videos on You tube that feature the mission ..its not that hard to hide and stay out of sight ..if you find the right spot .. you have to shoot Kaling with and arrow and run up and do a takedown on him 3 times .. then you beat the mission



** hint shoot the flaming jugs of oil ..but keep your distance from them ..it'll help as when they explode yes they can take out an enemy + make the map appear a lil darker and make it easier
to see your enemies **

I agree.
Depends on what level you're playing, but on hard it takes some time. You need to use as much cover as possible and keep moving from time to time. The place I found best was between two pillars and with a statue in front. At that position I was protected from most incoming fire, but you still need to move from side to side whilst hidden just to see if you've got a shot at the opposition.
I suggest you just keep at it and you'll eventually get there.

I am crap. I still can't do it. I still haven't found out how to abandon that mission either.
I started a new game instead.

sorry your having such a hard time with it .. it is one of my favorite missions in the game

I dont see any option to abandon mission either.
Why dont you use a cheat to finish that mission?.......then disable it and continue the game normally.

Recently replayed this mission. Next time you do this because it's part of the story line and needs to be done, just run around focusing only on finding Kalinag. Kill the other guys if necessary but don't spend too much time doing that.

Btw, if by chance you thought you had to kill everyone then no lol, just Kalinag. Arrow him to initiate takedown and do that 3 times.

Where can I find a cheat to kill Kalinag? I've tried several times but I am not good enough to be able to defeat him, but I do enjoy the rest of the game.

and in your video ... you shot him but never went to do the take down .. you stayed away from him

you have to run up to him after you hit him .. it even says RIGHT ON THE SCREEN DO A TAKE DOWN ,, and you ignored it

He is not there to do a takedown. Look at the first kill on the video. The big problem is that it is not possible to continue the game. Leaving the area fails the mission and returns to that same mission.

he is not there because you did not run up to him after you shot him

i watched your video .. your not doing it right

you stayed away from him after you hit him

you need to use cover hit him with an arrow .. run up to him and perform a takedown

you have to do it 3 times then you get a cut scene and the mission is over

you can also shoot the lamps as they do EXPLODE and take out bad guys as you work
