change toggle run to hold to run?

decided to play the game on pc, what the ♥♥♥♥ are these horrific controls, first toggle to crouch and now toggle to run? any way to change this?

right I should spend a year to learn programming, then learn how to mod in far cry 4 and then add an option every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game has

PERSONALLY I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE WITH THE DEFAULT CONTROLS

to run ya tap your right shift key

to crouch ya press and hold C to stay crouched

your right i never played on PC before .. i only been playing games since before you were even born and building my own PCs since the days of the commodore Vic 20's , hint i was born in the early sixties

and yes i do understand NO NOT ALL GAMES USE THE SAME KEYS for the same function as COD or other shooter games use ..go try duke nukem or doom if you want the same keys

i also have over 1200 hours playing this game alone , on Steam , + possibly about the same amount with my Uplay only copy ..your right i'm a noob

either get better at the game ..... or use a mod that suits your needs ... its a pretty simple concept to understand .

and i have helped hundreds if not thousands of players that had issues with this game and their crappy PC config .

bought this game the night it shipped in 2014 ..........on steam ..rebought a gold copy 2 years later as a uplay only version so i dont need steams crappy double DRM

i also have owned every far cry game since far cry 1 and bought em all within days if not the same day the games shipped .

so yea i'm new to far cry games .. as i own
Far Cry 1 < --yes i own a DVD copy as well as on Steam
Far Cry 2 < --yes i own a DVD copy as well as on Steam
Far Cry 3 Deluxe <--both on Uplay only as well as a steam copy
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon <--both on Uplay only as well as a steam copy
Far Cry 4 GOLD <--both on Uplay only as well as a steam copy
Far Cry Primal <--- uplay only copy
Far Cry 5 GOLD <--- uplay only copy
Far Cry New Dawn Deluxe <--- uplay only copy

the controls in FC 3, blood dragon 4 , Primal , 5 and new dawn are all similar ...so sorry man but it seems like your you are the one ....... new to the game .

yea go dig up an old reddit post ..from 4 yrs ago .......good luck with your game man

again 1000 players on steam right now have no problem ..and i have over 2000 hours playing it and had no problem .

and again

just tap sprint. boom. all of your problems go away and you aren't programmed to consistently mash buttons for no reason in other games aswell.
