LOST CD KEY to FarCry 4 | Accidentally DELETED (permanently) Email of Purchased Receipt
Hey guys, thanks for reading. I accidentally deleted my email of purchased receipt before I activated the game on Ubisoft. So now even though I own the game in Steam, I can't activate it on Ubisoft as I don't have my own CD Key. Anyone out there who knows how to handle this problem? I need help. Your assistance will be much appreciated!

If you have bothered to search forums you would had known that Ubisoft does'nt use cd-keys any more. You are not the first one with this problem (100's of post's of this issue). You have to contact Ubisoft (on facebook, twitter, mail etc etc.). Take screenshot to proof you have the game
click Steam (up left)--settings-view account details--view purchase history or just screenshot the game library (with FC 4).

If you know the password of your U-play account and the game is linked to it (the u-play account you use), you can try re-install u-play because the game should auto-activate on your account if U-play is updated (steam installs a old version). Also 100' s of post on this issue. You can try this before you contact Ubisoft.

Maybe Ubi later issued Farcry 4 without cd keys causing the view key button not to show in steam.

I bought FC4 long time ago though, this is what mine looks like. Two places where Cd key button is.

Yeah, maybe. I heard Ubi "left" Steam but I didn't how it affected games bought on Steam. I will contact Ubi's support when I can and see what happens

It's not any cd-keys no longer. If OP know his password on his U-play account and it's linked with his/her Steam account, the game would auto-activate (Steam/U-play) if U-play is updated. Also recommends to run Steam and U-play as administrator. If the Op has lost the password (U-play account/E-mail), Op must contact Ubisoft as i wrote in my first post here.

To make this clear:

About cd-key (from Ubisoft):

Hi guys! The following steps should allow you to activate your game automatically:

1) In your task manager, find the following process: UbisoftGameLauncher.exe, and end the process.
2) After that, uninstall and reinstall Uplay PC from uplay.ubi.com , as this will update the client.
3) Launch the game again from Steam.

If you are still having issues activating the game, please go to our Support site[support.ubi.com] and open a ticket with our technical team! Thank you.

Hi there,

If you have activated this game license on your Steam account or purchased this directly from the Steam store, it should automatically link with your Ubisoft account upon launching the game and logging in when requested.

As I understand you are advising this activation key was emailed to you, you may be able to contact the retailer where this was purchased to see if they have kept a record of this transaction.

If you have any other questions or need any further assistance, please feel free to let us know..
