more detailed textures are loaded.
- Probably more evident at higher res.
You might be able to reduce the effect by decreasing contrast and increasing gamma, or
playing with environ detail settings . Some slight reduction is often unnoticable but can
have positive efects.
Sorry that I can't be of more help.
(this is set by default to ON by many many Nvidia drivers )
also try another in game AA method like SMAA
also try chaging your Ambient Occusion settings in game
other settings to check in Nvidia control panel
under manage 3d settings program tab FC 4
in Nvidia control panel, i made these changes
Anisotropic Filtering = 16 X
Max Pre Rendered Frames = 1
here are the in game settings i use on my GTX 1060 6 gig card in case it helps
my in Game settings are Custom
resolution 1920 X 1080
vsync - on..but i have a 40 inch ..... 120 HZ screen ..
Quality settings
motion blur off - not a fan of it ..
Textures - Ultra
Shadows - High <--- (Nvidia PCSS Soft Shadows will kill your FPS )
Post FX -Ultra
Geometry - Very High
Vegetation- Ultra
Environment - High
Water - Ultra
Ambient Occusion setting is SSBC
Antialising settings is SMAA
God rays - off- not a fan of how it looks (can make the game unstable..even on Titan X and GTX 980 Ti cards )
Fur - on
Trees relief -on
in Advanced settings
Triple buffering - off
Vsync mode - Normal
or better yet shut off all AA and use Nvidia DSR ..so you get zero performance impact that comes with any AA ..by playing in a higher DSR resolution to remove the jaggies
Screenshots for comparison:
8x MSAA -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1575863624
4x MSAA -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1575041592
4x TSAA -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1575863639
SMAA -> https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1575863656
hopefully screenshots match because i cant remember what order i took them in.
TXAA shows it clearly 8x MSAA reduced significantly while SMAA removes it basically
Great feed -=SOF=- - Thanks!
Looks like you got the order right - SMAA looks completely gone.
