its still Dunia 2 engine .. just a more modified version of it

far cry 5 will also be using another more modified version of the Dunia 2 engine

Everyone do it nowadays... Batlefield, Assasin's Creed, CoD, many Valve & Ubi games etc.
If you're still not sure I would say that at least test it out for yourself... if it's not your cup of tea you just ask Steam for refund.
In my opinion this is the best Far Cry so far, honestly. We still need to see FC 5 though but for now this one is the most fun and polished of the franchise.
