Why my loot bag is permanently full.
I have completed Act 1 yet do not have the skill required to use any of the crafting syringe items that fill most of my loot bag. The rest of the bag is filled with various animal skins, none of which I need for crafting upgrades. I identify a particular animal on the map the skins of which I need yet when I go there I get to kill various types but not what is shown on the map.

I need Sambar skins. The map shows where they are, I viewed a video where they were killed slightly east of the marker, yet I go there and find none.

One mistake that's easy to make early is hoarding all those plants for syringes. Sell 'em, you don't even need them ~ except for a dozen Green or so ( 2 make a health syringe automatically ). Each herb takes up one slot even though they stack, so they'll suck up space real fast !

If you want to experiment with the syringe recipes later, just go grab what you need.

Also; you can start spotting the Sambar just east of Danpur village ( where WIC99's shack for getting skins is ) and just start walking North down the hill tagging them with the camera.
They're a drag to find at the spot indicated. They're rarely there, so you wind up getting bored and go looking for them anyway.

Once I verified what Sambars look like, I simply chased after them on my bike when I saw some, and drove over them.

Perhaps you should leave some of them alive and search until you find the one you're searching for? You can alternatively sell those skins - auto-sell will sell them if you do not need them for future upgrades.

Personally I never save any plants unless it's enough for one or two syringes. They're all over the place, everywhere in the game. You'll never be wanting for plants - and if you skin every animal you kill in this game, you'll be doing nothing else ;)
