Dogs kill more people in Far Cry 4 than the Royal Army, by far.
I come upon a gunfight between the royal army, and the golden path - neither side hitting any of the opposing side. Lots of noise, but nothing else. Then I hear dogs - 4 dogs to be exact. Those dogs rush all of the gunfighting soldiers - 6 vs 4. The dogs win without a single casualty. Both the golden path and royal army are completely wiped out.

Later, I approach a radio tower - and upon entering there's two people, a man walking around drunk, and a woman inside the tower sleeping on a futon. I start climbing - within seconds I hear dogs yapping - and I jump down thinking that I would try to save these civilians below. I'm down within seconds, and the dogs have already made their way inside and killed the woman on the bed. I run to the man outside, and pull out my biggest gun. The dogs bum rush the last man, killing him before I have any chance of shooting them all.

Both of these incidents happened within a minute or two of each other. Different dogs, mind you.

It doesn't matter where you are, or what's going on. Dogs WILL show up, and dogs WILL kill every last sign of life except for possibly Ajay Ghale. ...I just wanted to share my experience ... and eagles, don't even get me started on the F***ING EAGLES. Well, at least they don't kill EVERYTHING with no exception ever... annoying, but the dogs? I might as well kill all the civilians myself, to save them from the dogs...

This game so often has some wonderfully amusing and odd shows going on. Sometimes you just have to stop and watch 👀

Just last night, I was running through the woods on my way to start the " City of Pain " mission. I hear this pig squealing like a freak off to my right. I turn and look - a friggin Eagle is sluggish lifting off clutching this pig 1/2 again it's size. I'd never seen that before ! I tried to get a screen, but he was too quick. Odd place, the FC world...

Sometimes I'm not amused by it, though. Particularly when I get immersed in doing something, and then dogs come along and slaughter everything within a mile, which also happens every time I'm doing anything at all.

The game is amazing, a work of art. It's probably the most immersive game there has ever been to date, but... I do have a problem with the dogs.

There is plenty of amusement to be had, of course, but the dogs must go -_- They made a real marvel, and then decided it was too good, and added a script where dogs would appear everywhere and kill everything if you started enjoying anything else the game has to offer.

also later with the wolves,,, in packs ... if ya aim for the black one first.... the rest will flee .. giving you time to drop a molotove behind you, as you move along to your next objective

Yep. Seen the eagles carrying off piggies a couple times ... They usually drop them if you watch long enough.

I swear I've also seen eagles carry off those little monkeys in the secluded mountain temple locations.

Well, it's not my own life that I'm concerned about in the game. Never been killed by the dogs myself, but I do despise how they show up and kill everything else, whether that be heavily armed guards, or unarmed civilians. I think if they didnt' show up every single time, it'd go largely unnoticed by me - but that's so, so not the case.

So, I guess it's down to those enemies being eaten by dogs, or being burned alive. Not much of a consolation :steamfacepalm:

The eagles aren't so bad, and yeah they'll swoop down and pick up just about every animal the size of a goat or dog - they don't bug me that much, because they just do some temporary damage and fly off ... and they don't utterly destroy Kyrat - I can live with that. It's nice to have things left to shoot that aren't dogs, ya know?

Soooo, you've just got a thing with those dogs, eh ?
Well, better than constant packs of Wolves. They don't play well with others, but at least they have a sense of self preservation.

I just want them all to die, instead of the platoons of soldiers they slaughter...

I don't see why the Golden Path don't just send a pack of dogs into Northern Kyrat ... Pagan Min would not stand a chance.
