Just last night, I was running through the woods on my way to start the " City of Pain " mission. I hear this pig squealing like a freak off to my right. I turn and look - a friggin Eagle is sluggish lifting off clutching this pig 1/2 again it's size. I'd never seen that before ! I tried to get a screen, but he was too quick. Odd place, the FC world...
The game is amazing, a work of art. It's probably the most immersive game there has ever been to date, but... I do have a problem with the dogs.
There is plenty of amusement to be had, of course, but the dogs must go -_- They made a real marvel, and then decided it was too good, and added a script where dogs would appear everywhere and kill everything if you started enjoying anything else the game has to offer.
use them! YES YES YES burn them !
also later with the wolves,,, in packs ... if ya aim for the black one first.... the rest will flee .. giving you time to drop a molotove behind you, as you move along to your next objective
Yep. Seen the eagles carrying off piggies a couple times ... They usually drop them if you watch long enough.
I swear I've also seen eagles carry off those little monkeys in the secluded mountain temple locations.
Well, it's not my own life that I'm concerned about in the game. Never been killed by the dogs myself, but I do despise how they show up and kill everything else, whether that be heavily armed guards, or unarmed civilians. I think if they didnt' show up every single time, it'd go largely unnoticed by me - but that's so, so not the case.
So, I guess it's down to those enemies being eaten by dogs, or being burned alive. Not much of a consolation
The eagles aren't so bad, and yeah they'll swoop down and pick up just about every animal the size of a goat or dog - they don't bug me that much, because they just do some temporary damage and fly off ... and they don't utterly destroy Kyrat - I can live with that. It's nice to have things left to shoot that aren't dogs, ya know?
Well, better than constant packs of Wolves. They don't play well with others, but at least they have a sense of self preservation.
I don't see why the Golden Path don't just send a pack of dogs into Northern Kyrat ... Pagan Min would not stand a chance.
