Problem with "destroy all propaganda tools" quest.

Once I get to the location I have to kill all hostiles then start destroying the tools in the rooms as shown on the mini map.I destroy the poster making machines, I shoot all computers then when the progress bar is only a third complete more hostiles arrive. Three times more arrived.
I never got the bar over half way.
The problem is obviously because I take too long to destroy all tools.
So what tools am I missing? I used grenades in all the rooms then fast travelled back to base
to collect my rocket launcher but the quest location is no longer shown and when I went back there it was deserted, no people, no tools, nothing. Presumably if I go back to the quest giver the quest will reset but unless I know what tools I am missing it would be pointless starting again.

you probably missed blowing some stuff up .. if you fast traveled .. there is now ...no way to complete the mission

press escape and select abandon mission an see if you can restart it

To even consider trying to restart mission I need to know what stuff, besides what I mentioned, needs to be destroyed, the piles of posters, comm. tower, red blinking stuff outside???

YEP TOWER TOO AS WELL AS THE TRUCKS AN LOOK FOR BOXES OF POSTERS LAYING ABOUT

The areas should be marked on your mini map. Anything sort of flashing you need to blow up. I usually use C4 on most of it, or grenades. Don't forget the power generator and radar tower as well (be careful with the tower, it can fall on you).

And yes, as you start destroying stuff, more enemies will arrive in a couple of waves.

Thanks for the advice. I am sure the tower was not marked on my mini map.
If I can get the quest to reset then will take my rocket lawncher, C4's and exploding arrows with.
I will also place mines at the entrance to greet all new comers.

Edit: I got the quest back again and eventually completed it. Each time I left the marker called me back again. I was sure I had destroyed all until I eventually realised that the last highlighted room required me to go upstairs.
